Totally mess up.....I can't believe I miss it, but he AC unit is 220v and my wiring is for 110v, Oops, so putting in a new plug on Friday just for the AC. I wish I had caught that before the drywall was put up, but oh well.
Priming the ceiling and walls Friday night

I was limited by zoning to 600 sq ft. I put the depth at 25" for work bench room up front. I wouldn't go any less than 24', that way you can pull in and swing doors open without hitting anything. I wish I could be 24' x 40' LOL.
That picture of the paint isn't good at all, it looks like there are different shades going on which isn't the case in person, you are seeing light shadows, it looks really good in person. Like a giant M&M LOL.
It'll look sweet when everything is in place, you won't see too much burnt orange then.

Ended up taking 3 coats of paint, this burnt orange needed it. Got all the trim done, window casing is on. Put all the electrical covers on. Did a lot of cleaning this weekend. Cabinets will be next on the list, then work bench and storage rack. Can't wait to move all my tools in.

Worked on it this weekend some more. Storage rack in place, put together a wood top work bench. LED Lights are up now. Next are the cabinets. :D

Looking great! Not a color I would expect to see in a garage, but I like it!

Worst thing about a new garage, with new storage...it will eventually be full and not nearly as clean looking!

Good luck moving forward!

Cabinets are really nice, very square, no issues at all. Doors remove very easy, like 2 seconds to remove them. No dents, scratches, nothing that I noticed, very nice pieces for the price.

Well it's been a very long project, I thought I would have been done a couple months ago but it's finally finished. Just moving in tools and such now, nothing really to show any longer. It was fun sharing the progress as it was built. Thanks everyone for your help when I asked and thanks for all the nice comments along the way.

Pricing structure at NewAge have changed. They used to charge the little guys more cause they were buying fewer cabinets. Now I'm as competitive as any big box retailer.

Before you make a purchase check with me ShopStorageCabinets.com. I'll quote you the best price I can.

Thanks for supporting small business and my retirement. :rocker:

Thanks for the link. I'll be in contact in a few months once my floor is poured and final measurements are taken.

You think you've thought of everything when you go planning a garage of your dreams and you always forget something. No biggy but there are no lights up in the rafters, oops. Went to put something up there and I can't see in the dark, LOL

I bought a bolt in with sizes from 1/4 - 1/2, nuts, bolts, washers, lock washers(which are worthless btw after reading a study the NASA did), but got it put together and labels added ready to mount to the wall soon. I also mounted the LED lights under the cabinets, I need to get a 3/4" sheetmetal saw so I can run the electrical chord out of sight in the cabinets and up on top where I strategically placed a couple of outlets.

Garage looks great!
Any plans to convert the garage door to high lift? It looks like you won't be able to open the door with a car on the lift. I also would have recommended you install a side mounted garage door opening to free up the ceiling space in the middle but it doesn't look like it's too much in the way.

Let's see a picture with a car on the lift!

The door company put it as high as they could, I wasn't to happy to say the least. It won't be in the way as my car is a convertible, LOL
