Bergen its a budget price brand here . fantastic value for money they cost me £20 . other Bergen stuff I have bought over the years is lasting well
Okay figured I'd jump in and offer up some info on these. These are new, just released industrial finish black hard handle dual 80's. So new in fact they have the USA on the head again which apparently all SO ratchets will eventually once again wear.
Part #' s from top:
GFHLD80 - 3/8 Long - $139.95
GTHLD72 - 1/4 Long - $129.95
GFHLFD80 - 3/8 Long Flex - $159.95
GTHLFD80 - 1/4 Long Flex - $149.95
(I might be off $5 on the 1/4" drive ratchets)
None of these come up on SO site yet but dealers can order them for you. They only come with the black handle in industrial finish however all 4 of these ratchets can be ordered in standard chrome with hard handle colors such as green, orange, black, red and blue.....just search part number without the "G".
For those wishing for 1/2" drive dual 80 hard handled ratchets they are coming. Snap-on hasn't ever made a 1/2" drive dual 80 hard handle ratchet yet but they are coming out next month at their tool expo. At least the SHD80 in 8 colors just like they released the FHFD80 & FHKFD80 at last year's convention. Maybe they will have a longer flex 1/2" hard handle also.

I don't understand the industrial finish. Is it just a personal preference over chrome?

Yep, $2 per set shipped. I figured it was a pricing mistake and the order would be canceled, I was even more shocked when they actually showed up!
and yes, they have the laser tips on them as well. I'm going to keep at least one set for myself and I was pricing out the missing PH 0 phillips driver to fill out the set and its $14 bucks alone on amazon

Those were fairly common. It's handy to check a charging system without having to disconnect a wire. Some in-dash ammeters worked the same way, the main feed wire just laid in a trough in the back.

Pretty sure it is because chrome can flake off in places it shouldn't be. I have some industrial finish tools, they get rusty without oil and use.

Picked up a couple of classic adjustable wrenches, so that I can give some almost brand new USA Crescent adjustables to my son's friend who's going into the electrical trades soon...
Also picked up a used Snappy multimeter at the pawn shop, less leads $20, and some pristine (less rust) Klein needle nose for $2 at the flea..

This 1/4" metric low profile set has been on my wanted list for awhile. My SO guy had it on promo for $50 off so I bit the bullet. Also a couple of badges for a vise I don't have yet. Now that I'm getting into vises I figured for $1.75 each I wouldn't mind having them for someday when I do find a SO vise to restore.

I was at HD today and found the two pack of snips on the sale rack. Marked down from $33 to $26. Not huge, but enough for me since I've wanted a new set for a while now. I ended up walking down the tool aisle and then saw they had the individual ones for $9.97 (price dropped down from $14.97). I started comparing them and noticed they were different. The handles were identical. The heads on the individual snips were much smaller and did not seem as substantial/strong. The rivets looked much cheaper. I did not see CrM on the individuals. I should have taken a picture but I didn't. In the end I went with the two pack because they cosmetically appeared to be better snips. Anyone else notice that? Not sure if it's Milwaukee changing the line in general, or Milwaukee making them cheaper specifically for HD.

That seems to be the big box store game, they bring in a great product with a great name brand, then they get them to make it cheaper and cheaper, then start all over again with another tool/brand.

Hot damn, today was a toptul Christmas bonanza thanks to Dnshmidt complete with tree flock, just what I always want 
First up the trinkets. I got the security torx bits to keep in the truck so I wouldn't need to make space for a full blow set of sockets.
The bit on the left is a locking 10mm drive 1/4" socket adapter, it's badass and very handy. The other is just a 1:4@ drive magnet end.
Figured I'd give toptul a go for both the swivel end extensions and 1/2" locking units.
And since a guy can't ever have enough 1/4" ratchets, I added this sweet 72 tooth unit to the collection and a 10mm swivel T handle with the holding feature which works like a champ
And last but not least on the misc stuff a set of DBE shorties from 8-19mm.

Nice..I have thinking about getting a set of those offset box wrenches. Let me know how you like them.

Next up is what I originally contacted Dennis about, a set of 15 degree 72 tooth ratchet wrenches. I swear, this was all I was gonna buy until he sent me his tool list. I'm telling ya guys, this tool **** is a sickness 
But back to the wrenches. Typical top quality toptul goodness with very nice and smooth ratcheting mechanism. I can't wait to actually use them.
And as an added bonus this set came with three sizes of socket adapters. Now these are saweeet, I've got a couple other socket attachment dohickies but none that work anywhere near as good as these. I'm super impressed. I think what is most impressive to me is how low I can go with the socket limbo moves.
Notice the adapter and 13mm rat wrench has a 19mm zeal socket and my Carlyle ratchet which is the same thickness as a zeal ratchet is about a 1/2" larger but switching to the ratchet drive gives me another 3/16" of shallowness. I'm sure that'll come in handy at some point in my life.
I know the 1/4" one would have a few months back on a certain project which is why I bought one. But now I seem to have two of the darn things which means one of two things. One, I'll never use that assembly again for the rest of my life or two, I'll never lose one of them.

Ya, with a 5/16" hex drive no less. Ole Dennis talks a mad game about how badass toptuls forging's are, there's a good chance we'll find out one day if they're really that good or not.
I can tell you right now they're great. They are the same length and offset as my SK set with just more throw to the offset. There's something about the feel of toptul wrenches, they have a soft feel to them which is something I'm not capable of explaining but I like the feel of them. Now I just need to decide which set will go into the truck box. First world problems right?

They might. Btw, I ordered a set of combo's 6-32mm that should come in Dennis's February order. Now those I'm excited to get. If you're truly interested in going with toptul meece, you should really contact D and talk with him about what you want. His prices are fantastic and I don't think you'll ever be able to beat them going anywhere else.
Btw, I just did a hard look comparison between the SK and the toptul DBE and there is no comparison. The toptul blow them away for squareness of the broach and cut of the teeth by a long shot. Don't get me wrong, I luv my SK tools. I own a fair amount of various SK stuff and I was very surprised at what I saw when I took a hard look at them. Mind you I've used these a bunch and have not had a single failure, but there's a noticeable difference between them.

Tell ya what meece, if you're going to try out anything and you do a lot of metric wrenching I highly suggest you get yourself this set of super extra long combo's. They're completely different then anything out there in the same class of wrench.
I laid a 10mm CM raised panel on those so you can see the difference in length. This set goes from 10-19 and no larger which is a real drag as I'd luv to finish out this set at least up to a 22. But Dennis says the 19 is the largest they make.
