This is the best deal I've seen offered in a while so I figured I'd post it up. I've been meaning to buy one for the last couple of years but have always had other methods of doing the same thing. Recently after building a new harness for a modern hemi and testing every stinking nuisance out before plugging it into the PCM have finally had enough of my Fred Flintstone methodology

$90 shipped seems like a hot deal to me. But if any of you know of a better deal, set me straight please

I bought one a couple years ago from Sears. Back in the good 'ole days of sales, glitches, surprise points, and stacking coupon codes, probably paid less than 20 bucks for it out of pocket. But those days are gone.

I don't use the tool very often, maybe a couple times a year. But when you do use it, you ask yourself why didn't you buy this years ago..

Great for troubleshooting wiring harnesses, battery charging/alternator/starter, invaluable for troubleshooting electric cooling fans, relays, etc. Also the function where you push the button to apply 12 volt power to the circuit is SO much easier than fooling around making little homemade jumper wires or running jumper wires to a car battery. This is a Jetson's tool compared to Fred Flintstone using a cheap multi-meter and jumper wires.

I also bought the Power Probe Lead Set (in the blow molded case). Got it I think free from Sears with points. But I have literally never even used it or opened the case. Just the standard stuff you get with the basic Power Probe is all you ever really need, unless you are into serious automotive electrical troubleshooting.

That's a good price, last Christmas I bought my brother the same PP3 kit from Amazon for $100 plus tax & free same day shipping.

I've been using my PPII since it came out. The PP3 isn't the latest & greatest but I've always liked that model the best. Right after I got my brother the PP3 I had to get myself one. Sadly my PPII no longer gets any love. The connectors are so much better on the PP3.

Might want to get one of these also. I personally don't use it a lot but when I need it it's very handy.

Thanks for the feed back DZ. And funny you brought up that switch. As I was going thru the 8 pages of **** on TT's site today I saw that listed for under $3 and tossed that into my shopping cart, I knew that'd come in real handy at some point.
