You need to become friends with some of the employees. That will help some. It has been crazy this year. Most stores do not have Milwaukee blowers and hedge trimers. They sold at regular price around here.
On clearance in CT - 38.03. Couldn't find it in my store though, said it had 0 quantity but did give an aisle and bay number. Looked but none there. Think the trimmers were on clearance too.
First time I used the in-store computer. Nobody questioned me. It was a busy Saturday though.

Grabbed 15 blowers, great deal @ $38/ea. Wish they would have had trimmers, I'd really like a few of those. If anyone wants to do a little trade, let me know.

I've had a couple blowers for sale at $75 for a week and no bites. I'm glad I didnt pick up 13 or 22

just picked up a blower in danvers (east) MA for 38.03$.
thanx if one of you bought yourself one, and left the last one for me.
if you are looking, this is what i found:
the blowers and weed wacker are not near the tool area anymore, they are in the garden tool section. the weed wacker was on display, and was lightly discounted, but they were all gone.
the blower was in the stock section with the other blowers, but there was not a display model, nor a place for one. the shelf tag listed the price as 120 something.06. i was just going to leave it and wait, but on a whim i took the only one off the (high) shelf, and dragged it around until i found a price checker. it came up as 38.03$.
so, dont look for them in the "tool aisle". even though that is where the locals had them when they were new, and being bundled with the 9AH batteries.
and dont necessarily believe the tag . . . ..
so, i didnt get 8 or 12 or even 22 of them. but i dont think i would have bought more than two anyway, both for me. didnt check the "danvers west" store, one more wasn't worth the trip, and i dont have the patience to flip stuff.

So when I was at my local store trying to find if they had the M18 blower on sale (they didn't, seems to be full price in all surrounding stores), I ran a price check on their computer and this came up:

3 ites for $0.01. Oddly enough I went roaming around, came back to the same computer, did the same search and those three items were gone. What could that be about? So excited that I may have found my first HD penny item. Went looking for the Ryobi 18V blower in the pic but couldn't find it. Wonder why the three items disappeared during my second search.
