CamelCamelCamel says this is the lowest ever price on the FSV-4, well reputed modern vice. Many other vises on sale but can't comment on how hot or cold those deals are.

I have the 4".

It's been a great addition to my work bench.

I have it on my roll around welding table, so it doesn't get the same use as the bigger one mounted on my other bench, witch is mounted to the wall.

Definately worth the sale price.

The cheapest on eBay is $89. Amazon’s price is 22% less. Seems like a pretty good deal to me.

Both are very good deals! These prices don't come along too often.
I bet Amazon sold out of the 4", hence the backorder.
I bought the 5" version in August for $120 on Amazon.
Timing is everything!

Yesterday it was $79 on eBay at the same time it was $69+tax on Amazon ($5 difference). Both of those deals are now gone.

I don't personally understand nitpicking a deal you aren't interested in, especially when you can only find it for a higher price...

I was interested in it or I wouldn't have checked prices. My post was regarding the SHIPPING TIME of 1-2 months. Yes, you got a great deal and will have yours in a week, but the deal changed to months and that was my issue. Get over it...

I wouldn't be able to pay that price knowing a day earlier it was significantly less. Unless you need it i'd wait and shop around.

For what it’s worth, when I ordered amazon said 1-2 months expected delivery, and then I got a ship notification this morning and it should be here on Saturday.

Clearly you are taking 2 statements out of context.

1. Waiting 1-2 months for delivery to save $5 is not a good deal.

2. Getting delivery in a week and saving $10 on a pair of vises is a good deal.

Amazon updated my order for a vice for that said 1 to 2 months to just a week. Still 60 cheaper than ebay. (But within 5 dollars at Walmart )

The FSV-5 was $120 two months ago. How important is $80 to you?
