This is the third year I've seen Mechanix do a BF sale.
In past years, they've run out of certain sizes.
So, if you're a complainer, you probably shouldn't delay.

BTW- Menards will have the Material4X glove on sale for $9.99 for a 6 hour sale from 6-noon on BF.
Yeah, um, good luck with that.

sweet, just nabbed some original covert (the white writing is black). I wear them as riding gloves usually.

I was thinking about picking up a pair of MRT 0.5 (edit: according to Mechanix, these are suited for automotive work), but the reviews on Amazon make me resist. Are they really that bad (i.e. puncturing, tearing, etc). I usually don't like going through a box disposable gloves, but they still do the job well. For automotive work, which Mechanix gloves are worth checking?

I'm not much help as I usually wear Tillman 1414 leather drivers drivers gloves, MaxiFlex® Endurance™ Flat-Dip Micro-Foam Nitrile Coated Seamless Knit Gloves, or disposable latex. If I were to pick up a pair I would definitely like to try their m-pact as I have a coworker who loves them, but I am going to hold out for Cyber Monday as their current sale doesn't seem to good unless I wanted a pair of the orange hi-vis, which I don't need.

The mpact are ok. I had a set and found them a bit bulky. But they fit well otherwise. I mostly wear mine for riding motocross/atv or my bike. I use nitrile gloves for automotive work

I like the Mpact 0.5. I use them as outside work gloves, which is mostly firewood work (felling, bucking, splitting, and lots of handling) as well as general landscaping stuff around the house. They've held up really well -- still in great shape after a year of use. My only complaint is that they get a bit hot to wear in the summer; I'm told gloves with the "TekDry" would be a better choice, but haven't need to replace these Mpact gloves yet.

I don't know what these MSRP for, but when you stack coupons on the BF sales, you can get the basic Mechanix with the elastic wrist for something ridiculous like $8/pair. By far the best price I know of. When they have that sale, I usually stock up. I ordered 5 pair last time. Still have 3 new.

The Fall sale on their website gets you Original FastFits for $11.59 and Leather FastFits for $19.99. Pretty cheap hoodie too $22.50 if you want that. Free shipping it looks like too.

Will probably have the same sale this year.

My only complaint about it, is that they sell/share your info and then spam you via snail mail. When I ordered, I used a fictitious name/spell and since them I have received numbers items in the postal mail addressed to that person, be it Uline catalogs, insurance offers, etc. This was a name only used for that order so I know where it came from.

I do the same things, but mainly for magazine subscriptions. If they only knew how much my dog didn't read.

I too ordered gloves from them last year, and have seen a few odd mailers that I've never got in the past. I guess that is how they subsidized the sale.

You can stop unsolicited mail. Read how here:
