That is a nice find. I got a 50" one that was made in the early 50's a year and half ago. Still I have not had time to mess with it with selling the old house and shop and moving. Starting a new shop the first of the year so I can start back working.
Is yours a hand crank???
I have that rollers brother in my shop. Bought it at an auction about 20 years ago, I think I paid about $100.00 for it. I also needed to build a stand mine came lag bolted to a hunk of wood that looked like it was sawed out of a workbench. More modern slip rollers are configured so that the top roller can be tipped up so that the work can be removed without springing it apart.
Most modern rollers are cheaply made unless you pay thousands...
