I know it's weird. I have lots of Armstrong tools from my time in the service. It's all made overseas now. Gearwrench. I'm going to try it to see what I get. Thanks for posting. It's sold by Amazon so if it's not what's in the description they will refund it.

Amazon is not a stupid company and I'm fairly confident that they're not going to sell it unless they have it on a PO.

Yes, Armstrong has closed but that doesn't mean that their inventory dried up overnight. There's probably a pallet or two in a warehouse somewhere and Amazon has a lead on them.

i got email a few days ago asking if i wanted to continue waiting. which i agreed to. doesn't cost anything, they don't charge until they ship. . . . . . if it comes through, that would be great. if not . . . . .well, maybe apex will decide to bring it all back some day. . . . .

i realize it isn't armstrong, but...since i gave up on the high tooth count armstrong 1/2 ratchet i bought the gearwrench 84t instead.

those GW 84T ratchets are great.

but i must confess i really like those handles on the armstrong ratchets. . . . .
