I found some nice 3M safety products on sale today at my local store.
For some reason I can't find these item on the Lowes website. Can anyone find a link?

# 864381
3M Pro-Grade Earmuff - 30db NRR
Regular $24.97
Clearance $12.48

# 862237
3M securefit 400 gray tinted glasses
Regular $9.97
Clearance $4.98

# missing this sku...sorry
3M securefit glasses 3-pack (2 clear, 1 tinted)
Regular $19.97
Clearance $9.98

I grabbed a couple of the earmuffs. Great to have more muffs to place at different places in the workspace so I'm more likely to put them on!

Also found:

Scotts Snap Broadcast Spreader
Regular $30
Clearance <$1.00 - lots of stock available near me

Hitachi 12V cordless rotary tool - kit with battery, charger, and 40 piece accessory set
Regular $99
Clearance <$10.00

RotoZip dust vault accessory
Regular $19
Clearance <$1.00

On a side note, the NWS/Irwin cutters dropped to stocking-stuffer price at my store, so I picked up the last several. Tool guy was not happy because I made him look in his secret stash place for them, and then tried to tell me there was only one there. When I asked if I could look myself, he suddenly found the others. Then when I went to the bathroom I came out to find an employee rifling through my cart and about to pilfer the pliers. Fun times.

Got any more details on this? searching lowe's site for 'composite 16' doesn't really lead me to anything at 4.95.

His posts are always incomplete. I don't know why he bothers to even post.
I caught flak on HD for calling him out. I tend to ignore his posts as annoying as they are.

He talking in riddles for a reason.
IF it hits SD it will be front page and gone before you can get to the store.

Thanks for the heads up on the Hitachi cordless rotary tool kit. I went to my local store to pick one up. The guy working in tools found me one and then told me he can let me have it for $25 since it is old stock. With my military discount, $22.50. Maybe it’s worth that.

$39 near me. Still nice price, but not amazing.

I picked one up today... I needed a couple other things that took my total to just under $51 so I could use a $10 off $50 code, then the price was pretty good.

I bought a set of those for $3 at my lowes. They were listed at $6 on clearance on the website, but when I showed up they were gone. The guy who worked there pulled a set out from behind the counter that someone had used to open packages or something. Look brand new, just no tag. Sold them to me for 3 bucks haha. I was giddy.

good for you. I waited for them to drop from $17.99 but they sold too well at that price so it hasn't happened around here.

I would have liked one of those dikes and also the right-angle needle nose... When the price dropped at one store near me, some guy came and bought like 10 boxes full of the pliers. I don't know what happened to the couple dikes though. Right now inventory is showing 1 of each but I bet that is just an off-count as I've talked to the guy in the tool area before and we searched all the overhead areas (he was real nice). Didn't really need them but for their current clearance prices they would be cool to have for that one time you need them... lol.

Not quite what we paid but $17 is still a good deal for these: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00N3VSS4S/?tag=atomicindus08-20

yup. probably someone who lurks on the deal thread and is ******* greedy... :wtf:

He bought them at like $10 I think (now they are down to $5 IIRC)... But seriously, buying like 120 of them thinking you can make any decent money? They don't sell *that* quick on eBay or Amazon, and when you figure a price minus shipping minus fees minus cost... You would be lucky to break even...

I haven't seen them pop up online, maybe the guy bought them for a trade school or some business that needed them?

There is another store about 14 miles south of me that has like 125 pairs in stock and price just dropped to $24... lol When it drops more then I will be sure to grab me one or two.

There's a specific thread on the right angle pliers where I went through and listed stock on them (under $10 only) for as many places as I could find. Maybe there's a store semi-close to you?

I got the Irwin diagonal cutting pliers for $6 a little over a week ago. The stores around here were barely selling any of them at $18. I also got the angled needle node for $5 and one of the linesman's pliers for $10.74.

They were not easy to get. The cutters were hidden in with the tool boxes and all the needle nose disappeared from the first store I ordered them at. I got lucky with the linesman's pliers, they price matched another store that was an hour and a half away.

Did Lowes ever sell any of the other NWS made Irwin pliers?

Thanks, but unfortunately there isn't... Just the one store 14 miles away that still has 125 in stock but only 25% off (like $23.99)... All other stores up to about 100 miles away don't have any stock...

My own fault for not going that one evening and getting one when the close store had 120+ but the next morning showed 3...

Still shows 1 in stock, next time I go by there I'll talk to the guy in the tool area and see if he ever happened to find any of them.

They are cool, but not a necessity...

Do you guys want a hot deal? This is as hot as it gets. This deal is only for this site. If i see anyone post this on SD then no more deals like this.

Schumacher Electric Lithium Recharge Work Light
Item # 809723 Model # SL158
Normally $30. Going for $15-50 on ebay. Now $6 near me, and as low as $1 nationwide. As of 1 hour ago this was $4.20 with free shipping. I ordered 20 and all orders have shipped. But I just checked and the price was raised to $10.50 for stores that are OOS. Still a great deal for $6! The light is very bright, and the head swivels. Perfect xmas gift for a mechanic.

Schumacher Electric Spotlight/Lantern with Lithium Recharge
Item # 809722 Model # SL155
normally $25, $5 near me, and as low as $1 nationwide

I only bought 3 of these. I opened one up, and I was amazed by it. It's a spotlight and lantern in 1. Uses LED light and rechargable lithium battery. It says the spotlight lasts up to 3 hours, and the lantern up to 12 hours. It isnt that bright, but for emergencies it will be great. You will also save not having to buy batteries. I was so impressed I just got 5 more for $5 each. If you want something bright get the other thing.

**both items are $1 at allen park, MI. You can use that for price matching***

Lastly, I am posting some deals on my instagram account. search #lowesclearance and you will find me. I try to post deals not listed on any site.

Got one of each. Thank you.

Forgot to add. The flashlight, SL158, comes with usb charger and micro usb cable. You can use it for kindles, tablets, phones and this flashlight.

What lowes is doing is very deceptive. In the past when your order shipped it always said the total. Now the "your order has shipped" email just says "order total:(blank)". They are also removing coupons if the order falls under the requirements.

For example, I ordered some items. The total was $50. I used a $10 off $50 coupon, bringing it down to $40. Only 2 of the items shipped, and they removed the coupon so the discount disappeared. However the email that says its shipped doesnt say that. You would only know by looking at your order on lowes website.

So before:

1) Lowes would keep any discounts even if the total went under the coupon threshold because of out of stock
2) the email telling you the order shipped or was ready for pickup said the total

now:

1) Lowes removes coupons without telling you
2) The "order has shipped" and "order is ready for pickup" no longer shows the total

This looks very bad. It looks like lowes doesnt want people knowing their coupons were removed. I smell a lawsuit. One order I placed for pickup had the coupon removed. When I pickup the order im going to bring this to their attention and demand they adjust the price.

Lowes' IT department is just utterly incompetent. I mean, their website is often broken, it signs people out after like an hour and when you try do anything it makes you sign in -- but forgets the thing you told it to do (like add an item to the cart). They presumably don't want people using these coupons like we do, but they don't seem to know how to stop it.

The stores are run the same way. Utterly incompetent. It's amazing that the place has stayed afloat as long as it has. A testament to their markups, I guess.

Anyway, the coupon thing is a bug or something and they'll refund the money if you complain about it to customer service.

Oh BTW I bought something online the other day and they charged me the wrong sales tax rate. You can't make this up...

well, keep your receipts then. you will need them to submit for your part of the settlement.

If they are altering the price after the purchase, then that is illegal. You should have a receipt showing the agreed upon price. Do a chargeback if you used a credit card.

Lowes has been removing the coupon discount for quite some time in my area when the order falls under the threshold due to out of stock. I see no reason they should honor it. The coupon is meant to be applied to a specific amount. If it doesnt meet the requirements, why should they.

the coupon is for an "order". if they dont have something in stock, they need to deal with that before the "order" is accepted. changing the terms of the order after the fact is bad business at best, and illegal at worst.

it is also likely to cause a class action lawsuit. the only people who will win then are the lawyers bringing the case. everyone else will get pennies . . . .
