Mystery impact swivel....

Gents,

After a relatively comprehensive search on the Internet, I was able to come up with no information/history with respect to the swivel you see in the photos below.

Can you shed some light on this mystery impact swivel?

I think that is the mystery.

I had a Snap On set of deep metric sockets where the 15mm looked just like that. Eventually I picked up a replacement on eBay to fill the hole.

With a name like Darwin, they might be extinct.

Could be a tool from just about anywhere. But I would just use it. It does copy most impact swivels from so and mac

The swivel moves smoothly and bites onto my ratchet as well as any swivel I've ever used. From its quality (seems quite high) and its engineering, I would guess it was manufactured domestically. But, judging from the lack of intel about the maker (Darwin?) I would bet my life it was a Chinese knock-off.

At the end of the day, the swivel gets the job done.
