Im looking at buying individual ratcheting wrenches and have had good luck with facom wrenches in general, anybody have any first hand use of the 467B range.

I have the older 467 range without the anti-slip and closed box end. They've been excellent for me over the years, very smooth once broken in and durable. They come with a lifetime warranty that includes the ratcheting box end if bought through an authorised distributor which i would definitely recommend.

I warrantied one of my mac ratcheting wrenches and the tool they gave me is the new version which is made by Facom. basically the same as the 467 wrenches. they have a nice ratcheting mech. and the chrome is good.. My only gripe is that it doesnt fit on my wrench rack and the open end doesnt point toward the "tighten" direction like my other wrenches do

I prefer the older 467 range over the 467B
ring stop on 467B can be a pain or a blessing, older 467 shape more comfortable/usable in my opinion .

They work out good cost in sets for pro tool quality, individually is bit expensive ...

I've had the opposite experience with regards to the ring stop. I think they are very useful, and they always spring back if you need them to be out of the way.

My set is the 467AS, which preceded the 467B (same features but with older style beam).

Facom doesn't make much themselves. Its either Rotar Group or HiFive that makes a bunch of other items, including ratcheting wrenches, for them (Taiwan). Actual French made Facom is limited to things like pliers and screwdrivers.

Yeah I assumed they weren’t actually produced by facom.. but facom does sell the same wrench, and Mac didn’t get them until Stanley bought out facom...

proto has them now too

I need 10 and 13mm so price is incidental.

Just bought them.

It's been a little while since I did a Facom Fanboy post :D

I have been using the older style of these spanners in reversible, straight, flex and stubby
For nearly 10 years. Without question they are the best ratcheting spanners I have used,
None have broken, they all still tick like a fine watch and are flawlessly finished.

If the modern ones are as good I can definitely recommend them.
