2017 HD deals/sales/clearance thread

Definitely need to check pricing first. It looks like they are going to the Gorilla brand for this style of ladder. One store by me has the 13', 22', and 26' on clearance, but all the other stores only have the 22' on clearance. I just had them pull a pallet down that had 2 on it.

HDs here in Oklahoma started selling off their Werner ladders probably about 6 months to a year ago. Wish I would have known the sale prices were due to getting rid of them, I probably would have gone back each week looking to get a deal on the 17' model. I just figured it was a weekend sale type promotion. My FIL picked one up when it was marked at $99. (Considering Harbor Freight sells their 17' model multi position ladder for $109).

These are a little different than the ones cleared out earlier this year around here. Those were the 250lb capacity they brought in for the holidays last year. The ones now are the 300lb capacity.

I'm not often in HD, but I was last weekend and happened upon their Husky tool chests lining the entryway.

I've not really been looking for additional tool storage lately, but the pricing was enough to have me reconsidering. Most notably the two 52" offerings.

Thank you! I got the last one at my store.

Note that you should be able to make this stand work for most jobsite table saws if you attach a piece of 3/4" plywood to the saw's base and then attach the plywood into the stand's locking mechanism. I have a Dewalt DW745 and I can't see why this won't work.

Had a first tonight. Found a 50ft husky extension cord that was showing a penny in the computer. Brought it up to the self checkout to do a price check and it was showing the last clearance price of like 9.86 and the last date was around august 2nd.

I even scanned the original barcode and not the yellow sticker. Weird.

I ordered one for store pick up. Went and picked it up and it was wrapped In The original packaging I assume from when they received it. Get it home and open it up and there were two in the package...

Going to call them so they can update their stock and I can return one to a closer store...

The Moore OK location still had 11 of the Werner MT-13 ladders last week at $30.03. Went yesterday and they were still physically there, but no longer available. I asked an employee if I could buy one, and how much and they said they couldn't sell any since they were no longer in the system and coded for return to vendor. Oh well. Was going to pick up two, one for me and one for my FIL as extras.

They will generally match the Lowe's 10% moving coupons.

But coupon matching is major YMMV and it would seem store managers have complete discretion in that.

Also don't they offer 10% off for military, I think? I'm not so I've never followed that.

It’s awesome, had mine about 8months now and couldn’t be happier. Not quite as good at the 56 I have from harbor freight but I was impressed for the price.
