I've been considering the coolant filler next time its on promo. Can you (or anyone else on here with it) give an honest assessment of it once you've used it a few times, please?

Also, is that the "universal fit" one or the fitted one?

Picked up the channellock 8 inch wideazz adjustable. Opens wider than my 12 inch craftsman and proto. Cut off the rubber code blue grip. Looking forward to using it at work. I have trouble enough keeping my pants up without a 12" wrench in my back pocket.f24b6347592504b470f5938872991ffc.jpg

I have one of the universal fit made by Airlift I believe, bought from Matco. Anyways, I do/did collision repair and WOULD NOT replace a radiator without one. Faster, easier, cleaner, idiot proof, and no come backs because of some little air pocket. Also with the system under vacuum if it doesn't hold you have a leak, rather then dumping in fluid then finding it.

This one is universal fit, has several different adapters and a cone shaped one as well. I’ve used it several times already and love it. I should have bought one long ago. Clean, fast, and no air pockets. I’ve used it on an olds intrigue which is notoriously hard to bleed , a chevy 2500 with a duramax in it, and a peterbilt with a cat 3406e and it performed flawlessly on all of them.

I had been watching this for a while on Amazon waiting for the price to come down. Finally went from high $30's to low $20's so I bought it. Feels really solid.

It's amazing how smooth these are when compared to the cheap ones that I'm used to. $40 unused off the local buy and sell website. A retired machinists backup 8"

Couple more items that I ordered from Chad's. NWS has the best comfort grips I've put my hands on.

Craftsman Pro tape measure, sold by Sears Canada originally. Hi Vis fold up hex set. Craftsman would do well to capitalize on the current popularity of neon orange and green and bring these colors back for certain tools. Finally, a set of metric line wrenches, beautifully made by SK.

9 piece HD snapon torx from everyone's favorite auction site. $100 vs like $270 on the truck.81c82641cdeae3f3242959690c92e499.jpg

Picked up the Snap On slip joint pliers to go along with the needle nose, they're superb, aggressive teeth, tight fit and in-hand feel is excellent. Have a bunch of Channellock and Knipex, but I'll be adding more Snap On to my collection.

How do you like the cutters? I've picked up both the needle nose and slip joint pliers, but held off on the cutters since I already have 8" Knipex and NWS pairs. Rethinking that decision though.

Homebase were having a 30% off promotion on selected hand tools at the weekend so i went in for a look and picked up a couple of new hammers;

29kx2qe.jpg

The rest of my 440's arrived on Friday afternoon to complete the set up to 24mm;

Toptul long pattern combos came in, very nice for the price (£75 delivered) no problems with them. Never heard of Toptul until i had a look on this site, if i had seen them before i wouldn't of bothered getting them;

19mm Facom 440 compared to the toptul, the extra length gives a good bit more leverage compared to the shorter spanner;

I've had a ton of stuff come in recently.

I'm particularly pleased with this.

It's every new pry bar that Wilde makes for Craftsman (the ones with the strike caps) in a Wilde bar rack from Harry Epstein(It has WILDE cut out of the back but you can't see it in this photo). Guess they're made by a small local company near epstein and they have been selling them. It's a cool piece!

There might also be a HF pry bar in there...damn you Craftsman for not selling one smaller than 12"! rofl

Just discovered Trusty Cook.

I grew up using a MAC dead blow ball-peen that my old man had and just LOVED that hammer when working on cars. Could never find any of them under like $100 (looking at you Armstrong). While researching Carlyle tools, I found out that Trusty Cook was the OEM for them and this discovery coincided with a garage journal coupon code TC had put out, so I bought these.

I didn't expect to care for the regular deadblow and only added it for the sake of a sale they had going on, but I love it! It's so handy.

Bonus: These are produced in my city! Talk about buying local.

Heard people complain about CMAN screwdrivers, but I gotta say, I love mine. I've seen people post up photos of their phillips having such a good fit it holds the screwdriver up in the fastener. Thought that was crazy...till it accidentally happened to me while working on my bike recently.

They do sell an 8", but its not the striking cap version, and you have to get it as part of their 3-piece or 5-piece sets.

Yes, it's an Airstream SC8. Fast charger, louder than I expected, but fast.

The gun is pretty slick, sooo smooth!

Having a hammer dilema. Needed something bigger than my 16oz snap on dead blow ball peen but smaller than my mini sledge.
Decided a 24oz would be the way to go.
Got a USA Vaughn 24oz for 19.99 from lowes
And got a beat up snap on db ball peen for $35 off eBay. Gonna see which one I like better
