Blowing up the forum today when I should be watching my Chiefs, and spending way too much time on research.
I had epoxy in my old garage and was a fan. Nothing special, just the entry level Rustoleum that my builder provided.
Was about to apply it in my new house when I realized that my builder had complicated the project by sealing some cracks with Sika. Additionally, I've got a LOT of cracking.

My thought process was that the tiles would be a very painless install as compared to the prep work I don't feel like doing with epoxy. The appear to be around the $3/SF range, which is what it would cost me to have someone properly prep and apply epoxy.
I'll move in a few years, and could take the tiles with me.
From what I hear, I'll enjoy the tiles. Only concern I have is spills. I'm not a mechanic by trade, but do change my own oil, wrench on my race bikes, etc. On occasion, oil or other chemicals are going to hit the ground. Hell, just lubing the chains on my bicycles (also a regular occurrence as I'm a competitive cyclist) puts me at risk of a spill.
Is my logic flawed, or should I be buying a nice mid grade tile when the sales hit on Friday?
