Stolen from Toolguyd: Amazon is doing the base model 6A 4.5" grinder at $22 right now. I think these are basically the B&D/Dewalts sberry loves.

I don't care for the slide switch on the side - that's just me. PC offers a better 7A model with a paddle switch but they tend to hover around $35. The 7A model is my favorite budget grinder.

Anyway here's the 6A:

I grabbed one as a Christmas gift for a friend who just had to borrow a grinder from me because he doesn't have a single one (can you imagine??) :scared:

Just for reference, here's the 7A I prefer. Presently $39.99 so not really a hot deal on Amazon. Every once in awhile TSC will bring these in for $34.99, but last year they did the 6A version above at $24.99. Most TSC customers shop based on price I'd guess so the cheaper model likely sells better in-store

I guess that's why they make most of them in both styles. I greatly prefer the side slide switch. My current grinder has the paddle and I HATE IT but the 6A motor seems kind of week but for $22, might be worth trying?

For Prime members, there's an additional 15% off. So the 7A one comes out to $33.99! Don't have use for one, but even I'm thinking of getting it. Is it a good deal?

No link to the post? =P http://toolguyd.com/porter-cable-20v-max-cordless-drill-impact-driver-kit-deal-112117/

(Thanks for the call-out though, it is appreciated.)

Grinders typically don't show up for these kinds of promos, it's surprising.

It’s a solid grinder at $34. You likely won’t find anything comparable for even $$ (rattle box tennis elbow HF units don’t count)

I just bought the 6a Thursday on Amazon for $31!
Much better grinder than I thought it would be, so I just picked up a second one for $22 thanks for posting it up

I ordered three after seeing the Toolguyd post. Don't exactly need them, but I suspect they will make good presents. I may keep one as a loaner since I'd rather not lend out my more expensive ones.
