Garage floor paint

I painted my cement garage floor with epoxy paint and it looks great. But the cars front tires will peel the paint off after it sits over night. Any suggestions how to prevent this? Repainting the spots every few weeks is getting a little old. Appreciate any insight. Thanks.

I would be curious as to the brand you used and the prep that was done. Honestly you are likely going to need to grid it off and coat with a good coating or cover it with something like one of our garage floor tiles

It was a Canadian tire acrylic laytex. See if I can attach a pic here. Anyway I used it in the basement with fabulous results and the garage looks. Good except foor the spots where the front tires sit. I sanded twice and wet soapy mopped then rinsed with clean water and let dry before painting. Might just slide tile under the wheels and be done with it. What a pain.

Generally speaking Acrylics and Latex are ng for garages. Hot tires will cause them to peel, hence why almost never used in garages.

They sell online parking mats for under the tires, that could solve the problem.

Alternately tile over it with garage floor tiles sold by us, and several other vendors on the GJ. Ours are www.supratile.com

More expensive, but can't fail.

Chalk it up to experience. Just bad product selection for a garage. Grind it off and recoat or cover it with some tiles.

I know Armorcoat makes your standard cheap Epoxy kit. I wonder if it's any better than that paint.
