Suggestions for quieting down garage heater?

So here's the situation:

Our house has an attached garage with two bedrooms above (kids' rooms). The garage has a ceiling mounted heater that runs during the cooler months (thermostat based). It's a necessity, it keeps the bedrooms above at a comfortable temperature.

There has always been noise/vibrations from the heater that could be heard in the bedrooms. The bedrooms previously had carpet which helped muffle the sound but we have changed over to hardwood floors. Now I find the noise to be very prominent and annoying when I am in their rooms. Kids say they don't notice but I think they are just used to it.

The heater is lag bolted to the ceiling joists through two boards that act as spacers (shown in photos).

Are there any rubber dampeners that can be installed or alternative mounting arrangements to reduce the noise/vibrations in the bedrooms above?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

hang the unit with all thread and either springs isolators or rubber pads to eliminate the vibration

I would be because it is hard mounted like that it does transfer some noise into the house

Some drop down rubber isolators will greatly help

Is the blower fan in good shape, maybe its getting worn down?

Thanks, Jason. Using some sort of rubber isolator was my original plan. I looked online a little last night, just haven't found exactly what I need yet.
