...as opposed to running the lines on the outside of the building. My garage is new construction and with access to the stud cavities, I'd like to hide the lines for my minisplit.

It seems to be a semi-common practice but I read warnings about condensation. So I was thinking about running the lines through a PVC conduit that would contain any condensation and drain to the outside of the building.

Thoughts?

I have 2 x 6 walls and put my linesets in the wall. They are insulated so I have not seen any condensation. I do have them on the inside of the insulation.

As long as you don't have any of the copper lineset exposed where moisture could condense, you shouldn't have any problem - just make sure there aren't any exposed areas in the foam covering

That might be kind of hard to do, specially on a bend (radius) going out the wall. As said above, the lineset comes insulated, that is all I used on mine, I ran it inside my wall and stubbed out, right at my unit to tie into it. On the drain, I ran it straight down and then stubbed it out.
