Happy Holidays everyone!

I've been lurking here for a while, joined a few months ago, and now that things are slowing down it's time to jump in. I am a self-employed commercial service contractor from the Metro-Detroit area. I do service/repair and minor remodeling for restaurants, bars, retail, office, and small medical buildings. Been doing this for 25+ years, and will admit I am a Tooloholic... I was also a paid/call firefighter/EMT for 23 years.

Looking forward to joining in some of the conversations, and I wish everyone a safe and happy holiday season!

It snowed a few times in November but no accumulations, the weather gods were somewhat kind and cooled things off for the hunters for deer season, but it warmed up again the last couple weeks, a couple days ago is was 61 degrees, supposed to be 50 tomorrow. Bottom is supposed to drop out later next week though... Can't put winter off any more i guess.

I thought you were jumping the gun on the Happy Holidays. Then I figured you were auto white collar. When I was working, thing slowed down stating the Monday after Thanksgiving and almost came to a dead stop the week before Christmas.

Clearly no-commercial places want construction in December, but I'll bet you get some interesting emergency calls this time of year !
