Anyone have experience ordering direct? If I place order on the 11th will I be able to get product in a reasonable time frame? I need to beat a certain date so I can submit the receipt for tool allowance reimbursement. If this company is a slow shipper I can go another direction.

I am a member of their 'socket of the month' club, and have always gotten the shipment in about 5 working days or so.

When I request a ratchet repair kit on a Friday I usually will get it the following Thursday. That's not bad for quick shipping.

If you order online, you should be able to print out the order confirmation and submit that right away. You shouldn't need to wait until you have the tool in hand.

Since Ideal took over SK, their customer service has been nothing short of extraordinary. Don't buy too much though, save some for me

I am not affiliated with SK, just made up the user name when I registered with the site.

I do buy a lot of SK stuff, subscribe to the SK club, get a few free sockets here and there.

The X-frame part numbers listed as exclusions are 80020 and 80050, not the 80019 and 80049 sets. The coupon should work fine for the the regular sets.

Quote from SK email:
"SK Holiday Promotion is 40% off all products purchased on sktools.com from Monday, December 11, 2017 starting at 7 AM CST through Monday, December 18, 2017 ending at 7 AM CST. Holiday promotion code HOLIDAYGEARS40 must be entered at time of checkout. Discount not applicable on special holiday metal box set (SKU # 94528), special holiday X-Frame® sets (SKU #’s 80020 and 80050), any tool storage product, or SK Club Pro membership fees. Metal Box Set and Special X-Frame® Sets are holiday and SK exclusive."

SK-Mike,

Why is your company excluding the SK X-Frame sets from the holiday sale?

Is the 40% off coupon valid on individual SK X-Frame ratcheting wrenches?

Thanks,

Dave

I am wondering what the holiday x-frame sets are? Can't find them on the net or SK site. Even searched for the skews. ??????

I've bought some SK stuff from a brick and mortar store where I used to live, but there's no store near my current residence. How does one handle warranties if needed?

Thanks
-Chris

edit- I just checked and Grainger is listed as a dealer. Can I bring a busted socket into a Grainger if I bought it through SK and have that warrantied? Timeframe??

I live near a Grainger and did just that. They didn't have it in stock but got it in a few days. Didn't even question where I made my purchase and didn't require me to have an account with them.

Guys,

I just participated in the SK Holiday Sale. I think it was worth buying the X-Frame ratcheting wrenches individually if you don't own any like in my case. I purchased 7 of them to try (8, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15mm) for about $20.92 a piece (with discount) instead of between mid to high $30 range.

Sundaeman and 16again,

The reason the coupon code doesn't work is because you need to enter the SK website through a special link.

Ryan, a GJ administrator, posted this information in the "Hot Deals" section:

I got this from SK... Essentially, to get the discount you gotta use this link:

SK TOOLS 40% OFF

And then use this discount code: HOLIDAYGEARS40

Sundaeman and 16again,

I have bad news.

Drtyler, a GJ member, in a related thread, mentioned that the SK coupon code expired this morning at 7AM Central Time.

Went to check the prices on a few things, couldn't remember my PW, did the retrieval (twice) and never got an email. Oh well, money saved.
