2q's:

1) 'Immediate return of the item online' - can you order both and cancel one, thereby avoiding ever having to deal with the hammer drill kit, or are you referring to just sending it back?

2) What made the circ saw a POS? My dad wanted one for christmas, but if it's a POS maybe I don't want to get it...

Cancel immediately online . No return necessary. Pos might have been exaggerated. It felt cheap in the hand, not sure why.bi like the Milwaukee better, but it's more $. I'm sure the Ryobi saw is fine.

Sorry if this isn't the place and if I should be starting a thread. But I have a friend looking to get into electrical and I want to get him some tools or anything that can be beneficial for him. Any suggestions for anything between 30-60 dollars

You are a good friend! Assuming you are talking about shopping at home depot he'll be happy with any of these :

Klein is highly respected hand tool in the electrical trade. Fluke is the most respected name in electrical test equipment, multimeters, etc. stick with those brands and he'll have tools he uses for life.

I checked that at my store, most stuff was discounted just a dollar (or less), not the usual markdown schedule. Not sure if it's just a slow start or maybe some holiday pricing or what. I am going to keep an eye on them though.

That is the start. It all starts with yellow tags but only a few bucks off at the most. As you said, lots of it is a dollar less.

I will take a pic next time. Basically it's a large red triangle and says "please see attendant" underneath (with the item on the left side of the screen showing $.01

This sounds like what I saw recently when going through SCO with what I thought would be 2 different penny items (a yard umbrella and some landscape fabric). I actually didn't notice a price of $.01 displayed anywhere, but I may have been distracted by the big red triangle and "please see attendant" message. The attendant then rang it up on her screen and I think she selected the last clearance price that was displayed on her screen.

I have only purchased 2 pennies previously and both were very straightforward at the SCO.

Has anyone seen the next price drop for the tri-head Milwaukee tower light ie 2135-20?

They’re not gonna move at my store at $288 but I’d love to watch for the next drop

Last clearance price does not appear (unless things changed recently) for the cashier. They can look up the price history but the register never automatically displays price history.

You are just now seeing those? They have been here for maybe two years, test markets before that. I assumed they were nationwide by now.

I have not seen them at any store other than the Kennesaw location. Seems like they did go in about 2 years ago, but I do not recall the timing.

Oooo... I could *really* use this, I hate always borrowing my neighbor's corded grinder...

I don't think I've ever seen a 2pk at my store though... Will have to make note and look next time I'm there.
They are corded.

Yes, 2 Batts and charger, down from $200.

Wow!!! Gotta scour my local hd. I could use a couple small Batts, and extra charger, sell the driver for $40 on CL. Inventory online shows none in stock by me. Wonder if it's worth looking?
Edit...score!!! Got 1, on to the next hd! Thanks

The HD closest to me has several Milwaukee 2763-20 impact wrenches in the clearance section. They are marked at $154.

Seems like a decent price.

Makita XDT14R down to $50.02, I grabbed two from the overhead bin.

Found one yesterday. Picked it up. Sold the driver this morning for $50 as I already have a brand new one. So $4.24 after tax for 2 batteries, a charger and case!!!! Thanks for the post.

Sometimes you really have to look for ladders. They are usually up in the top in the lumber area and back by the insulation and such. I've noticed they will randomly strap a bunch of ladders together on a pallet and write on a piece of paper the SKUs...

This was the same in a store near me.

Same here, they only had 3 left and I jumped on one. With 10% off it was $139 without tax. I'm guessing everyone is holding out for the new model as it's rare to see Milwaukee fuel items on clearance here. Main duty for this will be my personal roadside trailer tire changes for me anyway so I won't need the extra ft/lbs the new one advertises.

I posted the Rocket Light AND the Fuel Impact earlier in this thread. I bought both of them. Combine them with a Veteran discount and you get both below the sticker price.

My two hits:
576-480, Hampton bay 5 lamp nickel light bar, was $139, bought @ $35.07
207-968, Moen Haysfield faucet, Model # 87350ESRS, was $398, bought @ $199.07

Both items showed not sold by HD and none in stock locally, even before I bought them and were unopened with multiple units on the shelf.

i discovered that. my brother and i walked around for probably 15-20 minutes reading numbers off the bundled ladders to no avail.

If your asking for in-store, there isn't a promotion. Only online, and it automatically deducted the price of the battery, though I believe you still have to add it to the cart.

If it's clearance, it will always say that. I had to call a HD (couple hours away, otherwise I'd NEVER call) and they kept telling me they had none. "I just walked out of a store that said you did.".Well come to find out, the rep was checking by going on their website not the PCA, or using the inventory button at the top of the checkout registers. This was long ago, but I've come to realize 99% of the time that is how they check stock unless they have a phone/inventory scanner in hand (but then they can't at the same time, and go to...you guessed it, their website on a computer)

Sadly, more often than not, the associates know less bout how things work than the majority of those on this forum.

I was checking online, not in the store on any of their systems.
Even checked again after purchase and no show with known inventory.
