I didn't realize there was a suggested arrival so early... I mean who the hell buys xmas gifts before the 20th anyway? lol

I went ahead and shipped half of mine's gift via amazon redirect. Since I'm prime he should get it Monday. The other half I will ship via 2 day priority on Monday. In my thorough stalking of said target I found at least one other forum doing SecSanta that he was in and *gasp* asked for the same things he did on here. I waited to see what he got in the other before I ordered anything. If that doesn't give it away to him I don't know what will. lol

The other gift I still need to buy construction paper and glitter to make for him. Those things are hard to come by this time of year. Especially pink and pretty purple. You'd think the whole world was making little pony costumes or something. No women's underwear in size 32 either. What is the world coming to?

I'm not going to give too much info away, but I did ship my package out this week and it should arrive next week. Hopefully it should arrive around the 20th, but not sure due to the last minute mail rush, planetary gravitational variations, unexpected separation of vulcanized circular road donuts, surprise interaction of various chemicals, etc. I will say the box contains some stuff in containers, some stuff is wrapped, some stuff is kinda wrapped, and some stuff is not wrapped. Wrapping is not my strong suit. I did my best to stuff the stuff into the box and it kinda fit. Maybe used too much tape. Tracking indicates it is moving. I think I may have said too much, so I now leave it up to the magical mystery mail service.

So, shipped. It should cross the multitude of miles in a timely fashion... should. It must cross deserts, mountains, rivers, hills, plain, perhaps a canyon or a dozen, y'all know, the usual. Well, except for jungle. I don't think there will be any jungles involved.

I pick up my gift Monday morning, then straight to the shipping store. I'm really stoked, I did a lot of stalking and I think I've done real good (in my best cousin Eddy voice). I'll post back when it ships.

Packed and ready for the sleigh (complete with artwork that looks like a 5 year old did it... I should stick to tools and electronics).

Should be northbound today.

Mine looks like it was wrapped by a 6 year old! My wrapping skills = a 6 year old's!

I couldn't wait and opened mine up. As it turns out, I needed it right at that moment and it was perfect! Very generous and thoughtful package!

So I'm just wondering if this is the case with everyone, just first time GJSS's or if I'm alone. After making, packaging and sending out the gifts; did anyone feel worried they didn't send or do enough? I really enjoyed finding clues through threads and putting together the package, actually I'm betting that is a lot of people's favorite part. Just hoping it was enough.

Yes, see my post above. Mrs Outlander course corrected me. BUT, it doesn't matter! Every collection of gifts has been cool & unique. I've new, used, nostalgic, location specific, complementary and surprises gifts sent my way. Your victim will appreciate whatever you send, I assure you.

Or when you have sent the package and find something that you think would have been great!

I can't even count how many of these I've been a part of, and every time I think the same thing. lol I'm always worried if the recipient will like his/her gift. But so far, so good!

Mine is shipped. Turns out my recipient has a low post count. Most of his posts are about secret santa throughout the years!

you ****.

Ha! I have no Christmas tree to photograph it under. I was going to take photos of the goods however so I can show them to everyone when it's "show time."

Honestly, I forgot that we were supposed to wait. Hey, I'm old. The memory ain't what it used to be!
