Looking to run power to my garage, have a 1.25 inch conduit ran, i already installed a 100 amp panel in the garage (can change the main breaker easily)

can i run 2-2-2-4 mobile home feeder through the 1.25 conduit? This is what the city inspector is suggesting and said he would sign off on it (its over fill limit for 1.25 conduit) but im just not sure how easily it will fit.

I have 25 feet to go, through an lb and a 90 on the house, and lb and 90 on the garage.

Thanks!

I'd just run individual conductors. 25 feet isn't enough $ to worry about, no hassles down the road if in an infinitesimally chance event an inspector fails you during a home inspection.

The 2-2-2-4 is going to be a bear getting it to bend through a 1.25 LB. 2-2-4-6 will be slightly easier. You should consider copper thhn/thwn so to use a smaller gauge for the same capacity.

A home inspector is never going to see that nor comment on it, lol. As patent said, I think it's going to be a tough pull though.

If he chooses 3-3-4-8 Cu THWN conductors the fill is cut in half and he gets the full 100A panel rating as well. Not much extra $ for 25'.

2-2-2-4 MHF should make it through 1.25" but it'll be snug. I ran mine through 45' of 1.5" with two elbows without a problem. 2-2-4-6 would be a bit easier. I'd be absolutely sure he'd sign off on first though.

For 25 feet the extra cost of copper THHN wouldn't break the bank, I'd probably go that route. Easier to work with too.
