20x21 garage - how many rafter ties?

My garage is a 20x21 and looking into the feasibility of moving a rafter tie over for additional height in one bay.

There are 3 rafter ties spanning the 20 ft width with a few collar ties scattered across. I want to move rafter #1 labeled in the picture towards the wall on the left by 16in to the next rafter. Will this cause any problems? I'm thinking to move it over one, then add a collar tie in it's original place.

lol fair enough, thanks. Worst case is garage ceiling caves in and then that's an excuse to rebuild bigger, right?

Those don't look like either a rafter nor a collar tie. They look slap-dash.
