I'd surprised in this strong economy to see 30% in the near future, but who knows.

There is a thread for Zoro related discounts. If you read it, even just the last page or 2, I doubt you would have posted your question

I have not seen 30% off in a couple years, just when they launched Zoro site!

Trying to wade through all the old threads that pop up when you use the search feature is a colossal waste of time. Answers to questions like this are relevant to when the question was asked; hundreds of 1-5-10 year old answers are meaningless.

Yup, it's pretty close to a couple years since the last 30 off. The best I've seen ina long time was 25 off a couple days ago without restrictions on the type of stuff which has become the norm of late.

It has been a while. Bigger issue is that there is now a rather lengthy list of excluded brands from the percent off sales. Thus, for many items, the sales do not amount to much, especially if you are in a state where Zoro collects sales tax. I used to order a lot of stuff during their sales but hardly anything these days. I can usually do as well or better elsewhere.

Would have agreed with you, before I learned to search properly.

Go to "search this forum." Then click on "advance search." Once you are there, put 'Zoro' in, and select "search titles only" from the drop down box below the keyword box. The first result is the thread I referenced, well 2nd now that this thread was made ;). Click, view last page, and there are plenty of comments regarding 30% off posted in the last 1-2 weeks.

If you just use the search that drop down, then you will get every thread with the mention of Zoro, which is is a lot to trudge through. But now, this thread will pop in the searches, where if whomever went to the other thread & read (or posted), it would be a little clean & concise for all.

I've given up on waiting for the next 30% off sale. Still, there are some deals to be had using 25% off.

I did well last year on 30% off but only received the 25% off.

Besides that they have items not eligible posted . I'm glad I took advantage before the new policy.

I waited about (6) months hoping for a strong discount from them for a semi big ticket item and ended up pulling the trigger on 25% off a month or so ago. I like doing business with them, they worked with me in getting a good shipper. The shipper was great, actually pulled up right in front of the house, unloaded it with a lift and brought it into my garage with a hand truck. Driver helped me slide it off and into place, not a scratch, box didn't even looked like it had been put on a truck.

Their prices are so high on some items, you're money ahead to just pay full price somewhere else.

Example: Lincoln 256 at your local dealer, around $2300. Zoro? $3200.

Sure- that goes for almost any company.

Deals can be found on zoro's site though.

I definitely agree. You gotta shop smart that's all. Bought my Dynabrade sander kit and load of belts with 30% off. At the time it ended up being $150.00 less than anyone else.
