Besides the utilitech being reduced there are some sylvania T8 LEDs that were being clearanced out, at least at my store... Lots and lots of them, ~$5 each IIRC....

Same here, they moved the bulk of the bulbs where the Christmas stuff was with a giant clearance sign.

Alot of these deals are priced higher in store than online so it only makes sense to buy online.
I've never seen a mismatch. If it's marked down online, it rings up that price in store. I have benefited from the shelf tag being outdated with a higher price, but rings up same as online every time.

Same here... I've never seen an online price lower for a particular store than what it rang up as *in* the store...

Probably locally specific in Conway, AR. Kohler bath doors marked down from $324 - $519 to $50. Pretty sure the last one that is still marked at $250 is supposed to be $50.
This store has all kinds of stuff in clearance. I found that the manager will knock off even more than what is marked if you just ask. Case in point, the 10 packs of Sylvania 4 ft T8 LED bulbs I bought a few days ago. Marked as clearance at $76.48. He sold them to me at $30. Item# 852837, Model# 75425.

Yeah usually in the back wall area of the lumber / windows / doors they have a section like that with marked down doors & windows, I'm guessing cancelled orders or returns.

Awesome price on those LED T8's... If I didn't have like 40 regular spare bulbs I would probably consider upgrade but as-is I'm set for a while.. lol.

Saw 16 ea pack of 4ft LED tubes for $67.98. Add to that a coupon and they get even cheaper. Which is better for a workshop with 9ft ceilings? Bright white or daylight?

https://www.lowes.com/pd/Utilitech-16-Pack-32W-Equivalent-Daylight-T8-LED-Tube-Light-Bulb/1000264771

My local store now has these for $39.99 each and won't match the $18 each receipt posted earlier here. I need two boxes. Does anyone have a source for a $15 off $75 coupon?

Which is the better choice for a 9ft ceiling shop? Daylight or Bright Light?

Thanks,
Andrew

Just bought the Utilitech 778114 and am really disappointed. I tried them in two different fixtures and the light output was much less than the florescents. Returning them tomorrow.

Wow. Evidently the Sylvania LEDs are quite a bit better than the Utilitech's. I replaced 20 of the 32 bulbs in my shop and can see no difference in the amount of light put out. I'll have to move a car and some other stuff to get to the last 12 bulbs.
I have a brother that will use the fluorescent bulbs that I am replacing.

Big question is your ballast electronic?
Someone else had issues with their ballast not being electronic and not working properly.

I installed my Utilitech 778114 and think their better, than the florescents .
(Did have to reverse one bulb cause they are directional, there's a top & a bottom)

I don't know what type ballast. House is 11yrs old if that means anything. Ballasts have a slight buzz which didn't change when I tried the LEDs.

The xxx114 utilitech bulb requires a ballast, though, right?

Only the xxx115 is "hybrid" and works without it.

So I got 32 of the T8 LED Daylight bulbs for $67 out the door. I would rather have the type that do not require the ballast but like this price for now. Maybe in a few more years the opportunity will present itself to upgrade again.

Will these T8 type bulbs work in the older T12 fixture with ballast? Most of mine are T8 but I still have a pair of T12 lamps I would like to upgrade.

They have a 7" 15 amp for 83.30 once added to cart.

I also know that white marsh lowe's last week had several of the 4.5" 8 amp grinders for 49ish, I picked up one, there was two left on the shelf.

Yesterday evening I installed these into two of my 4-bulb fixtures. They are brighter with more uniform lighting than the fluorescents. For $2.12/bulb I'm a happy guy. I have four more fixtures to load up then will see if they will work in some 2-bulb fixtures.

I saw some conversion kits to go from T12 96" to T8-48" LED direct lighting for $8

When did Lowes start doing a 11% rebate? The last 2 days I've spent around 200$ in the Lowes in Anderson In. on the receipt it said it had a 11% online rebate.

a store near me dropped the utilitech daylight bulbs to 39.99 with over 20 packs in stock... even with my previous comments this is now very tempting from being 68 bucks a few days ago.

any risk with ordering these online and having them cancelled? would go nicely with a coupon if i could..
