Any Info/Feedback On 8 Foot Integrated LEDs???

I am looking to re-do the lighting in my new to me garage. I have T8 fixtures but I'm sick of the poor cold performance. I know I could upgrade the bulbs but I like the idea of running 10 strips and the compact design.

Has anyone used these or similar??? I am looking at this set specifically because of the Cree chips they use. Who knows if they actually come that way but they have a longer warranty I'm assuming because of them. They claim 7800 lumens per unit. 10 of them should light up my 2 car nicely.

From what I have heard non-frosted will give you a lot of Glare..(HEADACHE)
I have 5000K Frosted and at times it is almost too bright.

Thanks for the headsup on the lens type. I was not sure which way to go. Looks like they are out of frosted for that light.

What about these? Has frosted option. Would you go warmer knowing what you know now?

I am using a bunch of the 4 ft barringa ones from Amazon. The higher k ones bothered my eyes but I like the daylight ones

There are so many red flags on this ad that I lost count. Dont be mislead by the
"Cree" claim, either. It's true that Cree makes some nice chips. They also make some ****. Guess which ones this product uses?
If you're looking for low cost LED tubes (which also means lesser quality), at least get them from Amazon where you can return them when you're disappointed and not from some "unbranded" ebay conman.

I would look at the BEST Light fixture ever... Thread(Sticky)...

Buy a good set of T8 - 48" Dual light fixtures and bulbs...about $300 for the 10 sets of fixtures and 20 direct wire bulbs.....Might actually be a bit too many Fixtures....

I have housings galore. I have 5 8ft T12's, 4 4ft T12's, and who knows how many 4ft T8's around the house I can use. The general consensus seems that a bulb retrofit would be the way to go. It makes sense because they are less expensive, easily changed, and available locally if needed. I have no issues removing the ballasts in my unit either.

I was looking at the integrated units basically because they look nicer, but I agree there could be possible issues if and when a unit fails.

Also to confirm, the 4000k-5000k light temp seems to be the sweet spot??

Don't those bulbs say they're not designed for this due to heat?

I replaced about 20 can lights with the Cree can light replacements 2 years ago, and none of them have failed. I did have two flood bulbs fail, and when I emailed them, they sent me new ones, no questions asked.

I just replaced several T8 4' bulbs with drop in from Lowes - Utilitech, the house brand. $23 / 4 bulbs 6500K. Looks good, instant on/bright even at 50F.

Life: some of these bulbs - and I have several different brands/styles in the house - will not make it. Have a "50,000 hr" Edison base LED bulb in the 2nd bath that has gone out a couple of days ago. It's been there maybe a 2 years of minimal use. It's a $4 bulb, so what. I keep spares. Yes, we should get what we pay for. No, I don't really expect everything to live up to the hype. I do like the low current use and the type and color of the light, so I'm OK with putting up with the occasional early death.

I have integrated t8s from ebay in my garage for 2 years now and I love them. ZERO failures or issues. I have 9 in a2 car and it's perfect for me. Just bought 20 for my new house, 20 with a bunch of interlink chords cost me $200. In my opinion the eBay lights are the way to go, just find a seller with good feedback that has been around a while.
