Want a mobile tool cart

Ok does anyone make a tool cart that folds up when not in use?

I want something that just has 1 top area to set tools and when not in use the bottom folds up and top folds down to store away. Does anyone make this? Would be nice to have adjustable height also for different vehicle height so it could be pushed over the engine compartment, seams like something that should be made already but I never see them.

I don't want a permanent cart since I only work on my own cars but I am tired of dropping tools because I'm setting them on the engine and knock them off. And I don't want to give up the space for a non folding cart.

Ya but they take up the same floor space collapsed as they do in use, that's pointless imo, this is more what I want but don't know who makes it, looks like the bottom folds up also.

Exactly like this, but where can I buy one. I don't understand why this wouldn't be popular, there are a ton of people that work on their own vehicles but aren't mechanics so don't need it all day every day.

Cause for all that's doing - you can buy a $20 plastic folding table/tray from Kmart. People buy tool carts to store tools.

I doubt mechanics buy these to store their tools, made by many different company's some even have the top that folds down but the bottom doesn't fold up, probably so the can be pushed up against a toolbox when not in use.

Yup, its called a folding table and you can get them at a number of places. I have a dewalt that is super easy to set up and take down.

There are a few on Amazon that look to be of decent quality. For what you pay vs what you get a tv tray with a few modifications would be about a third the price. I have some nice sturdy wooden ones that I use all the time in my garage.

A couple folding saw horses and a plank of wood work and can be used for multiple projects from automotive repair to house hold chores, to a serving table when you entertain.

This one is the one my brother uses. He refurbishs old diecast cars and has it inside in his office. His said be careful of the drawer when you fold it up.

An ironing board makes a fine tool stand. I used one for brake jobs on the rack. It was very handy and saved a lots of time. It folded up when not in use and had enough room for drum brake parts and tools. I took a lot of kidding about it but it worked fine.
