Plural?

The price has been corrected this morning. Still waiting on my fate.

Exactly. Let's hope they had 100 in inventory, ha ha. ;)

Just checked, and the one I ordered is still "in process". I have orders from 2 years ago that are still in process ha ha. Oh well, it was worth a shot.

Was not an error - on clearance items, price returns to full price when stock is depleted.

So the nailer is now OOS at that store, so it shows as full price. Check other stores in the area, they are not the only one with that price.

It was always out of stock, but allowing shipping. Price was $35.9, when it should have been $359.

It was showing in-stock when I ordered, at the $35.90 clearance price. Shows $359 now, but no stock, which is normal for clearance items.

If you are saying it showed OOS and available for shipping at the $35.90 price, that is different, maybe a result of the recent changes in how internet orders are fulfilled.

Yes, there was no indication of a clearance price. Mine has been canceled. Interested to see if those who ordered when it showed stock will all be fulfilled.

It's all luck with Lowe's, I order stuff almost everyday. Probably 65% of my orders are cancelled.

If anyone here honestly gets upset over that price typo they should be evaluated for mental health. It was a mistake, and they should not honor that price.

The pricing is not the error it's based on velocity and sales tracking. The means at which the item was available was the error.

If you have a deal at a certain locations with shipping available do you have to do each order separately? I added everything to my cart and then only the most recent thing was still the sale price

You just have to not exceed the quantity available...and beat any others to it

Separate orders, since store pricing is not uniform

Okay, thank you. I only ask since the items listed as having free shipping from page 7 now include $5.99 flat rate which pushes many out of deal territory.

I ordered when it showed $35.90, OOS, available for shipping. Already got shipping confirmation. Lowe's system basically defaults the order to a different store for shipment. I am in TX and lowe's system has defaulted orders for shipment from stores all over the US. It's just luck whether that store catches the lower price when processing it and cancels, or they don't notice/don't care and ship it out.

i was at lowes returning a carpet machine saturday and something caught my eye... too much stuff on clearance to list (i see someone just posted the light bulbs, that was the main thing)

however i did see a Kobalt overhead storage rack. now i'm not saying this is the one i saw, it's either the same or similar to this one:
https://www.lowes.com/pd/Kobalt-60-in-W-x-40-in-D-Gray-Steel-Overhead-Garage-Storage/50218511

it was marked originally 199 or somewhere in there, and it was on a cart that said "50 percent off the lowest marked price" and the sticker on the box said $110, so i'm assuming $55 for the rack. there was only 2 left, waterloo iowa. happy hunting

Oh man, you should have snapped a picture of the item with the item number. I’ve seen the one in the link on sale/clearance for a few weeks now. I’m indecisive if I’ll pull the trigger when the time comes on that purchase. I suppose it depends on the price drop.

Here are a few items I saw on my last trip that have started the markdown process. Not great deals but they may be better at a different store.

797362 $99
856855 $149.98
897663 $229

The top dewalt item is a good price. Your third item (also Dewalt) isn’t at a phenomenal price point. As to the Kobalt tool set, I think there’s more than a few dreamers here including myself in hopes that set will drastically drop down in price, but it’s very iffy. I can see Lowes carrying that item into the next year before there’s any deeper of a discount. At any rate, those items have been marked at that price for...eh, weeks now.

Thanks garagesurfer, I need a bunch of bulbs!! Is there a way to find out which stores has them on sale? My local ones don’t and I’d love to ship, but have been told not to use brickseek to find this info. Suggestions?
Thanks!

Yeah, like another member said here, you need to have a my Lowes account and hopefully you can get it with free shipping. At first I thought I woluld wait it out by delaying my purchase with the household bulbs, but it’s a little more clear now just how many stores actually have these bulbs on clearance.

If I can help ya out further, let me know.

as a reminder to everyone please post the store location as well when you find a deal or else its worthless!!!

Chill a little. I thought when I shared the links, the city was reflected in the link. I now know it doesn’t. Minor error. I edited my post #266 to be more directional towards where to find the items at the prices mentioned.

ive noticed a ton of these LED under-cabinet lights were on clearance at my store (21046)

https://www.lowes.com/pd/Utilitech-2-58-in-Plug-in-Puck-Light/1000088093

this isent a screaming deal but just a heads up to those looking.

Also, i read the below on another site and it looks like a great option if you want something and they wont ship

Today I learned a dangerous thing... how to order items from Lowe's even when shipping isn't available online. When you go through a Lowe's sales rep, they can authorize shipping from a specific store. You'll likely have to pay shipping and probably won't be able to use any discount codes (but it doesn't hurt to ask politely--and please don't mention that the discount codes work for sale items online, because then Lowe's might figure out how to disable them, like they seem to be limiting online shipping of items with non-stock clearance prices).

Step 1: (optional, but appreciated by the Lowe's sales rep) Call the store that has the advertised item to confirm that they actually have it in stock. Note the store number and item number. A store manager cannot authorize shipping. It has to come from a sales rep.

Step 2: Call 1-800-44-LOWES to speak with a sales rep and place an order. Tell the sales rep that you would like to order an item from a specific store for which parcel shipping is not available online. If you did step 1,tell them you already called the store to confirm it's available. Tell them the store number and item number. They'll call the store manager to confirm and authorize shipping. Note: There's a chance the store manager won't want to do it, but I suspect this won't happen much.

Step 3: The sales rep will tell you how much shipping will be and process your order. Since you're ordering from a specific store, you can't "bundle" items from multiple stores to combine shipping costs.

Step 4: Search and repeat. Sit back and watch your credit card bill increase while you wait for boxes to appear from Lowe's.

FYI, I just purchased the Ring Doorbell for $24.88 + tax and $5.99 shipping, so it's no longer available from the Leeds, AL store.

Aha, that's the kind of information I was hoping for when I asked a few days ago about shipping an item that the Lowes website ridiculously thought could only be shipped by truck delivery at a cost 1.5-2x of the item itself. Very helpful, unlike the one reply I got ("I guess they meant to do that" basically :p ). I'll try it once the stores I've found it at are open.

Edit: My attempt was unsuccessful, the phone rep I got couldn't figure out how to bypass the truck delivery BS unless the item had been available much closer to me than it was (unsure if they needed to be within a certain mileage radius - the store they thought would work but turned out not to actually have it was 400 miles away - or just the same state) to do a store-to-store shipment. Might work out better for someone else in a different situation, though. :)

****. I found a $25 gift card and was set to go buy one. I see why they WERE so cheap, they cleared them out and brought in a prohibitively more expense Triton brand one now. Oh well...

You can still search for them on 3rd party sites that do inventory / price checks to see if any stores in your area have them in stock. They are all @ $20 around me but seem to be selling quick.

If i had room on my walls for one I would grab it too, but the best place for me to store my lumber is under where I park my truck, plenty of clearance there.

I bought these @ the $20 price and the quality is REALLY nice.

Great way to ruin deals for all those not running scripts or brickseek

?????

you mean because it will alert the store of the price discrepancy and they may adjust?

I've noticed various GFCIs (probably slower moving, like dead front and switch combos) and conduit fittings in clearance around here, varies by store. Today I picked up 6 GFCIs, 28 EMT couplings, and 12 EMT box connectors for a total of $8.75. At original price the 6 GFCIs alone would've been around $100, 20amp, GFCI/switch combo, and so on.

PASLODE STRAIGH NAILER $35.90

Rainier Lowe's

Thanks guys. Ordered the nailer from the Lowes in Seattle for $35.90, and 2 of the straight edge cutting guides from Ontario, CA that Woodturner9 mentioned for $3 each. Received all 3 yesterday. Interestingly, all 3 items were shipped from the Jacksonville, AR Lowes, 29 miles from my house. All 3 items are listed at full price at the Jacksonville Lowes.

Got a lot of grief from a manager trying to ship an item over the phone. They apparently knew what I was trying to bypass their no shipping option for a clearance item. I wouldn't bother. The first 2 phone calls they said shipping is $70 (for delivery) and they were too stupid to figure out the parcel ship option. Finally ASM told me to stop trying on the 3rd attempt, it wasn't going to happen. I feel like they know the tricks when you move higher up to the managers and head cashier's.
