Small haul today.

View media item 80321
- The fish tape (unbranded) is probably going to a friend trying to complete a WWII electrician's set. (Unless it's a plumber's snake, which is looking more and more probable.)
- The pocket voltmeter is a Montgomery Ward Model No. 62-6585 in the original box. For radio batteries "A" and "B".
- The tube flaring kit is a Walden-Worcester T-177.
- A no-name spoon.
- And a ratcheting DBE (No. 62, 3/8 x 7/16) to add to my K-D collection.

Nice stuff guys!

Bockscar - what brand is the ratchet above the two Bonneys? Appears to be a Wright made.

Outlaw- nicely done on the freebies!

BMW - you ****!

Nothing to report here.

I like the looks of the Bradley tool roll. It looks like decent quality. What's your opinion?

The bonney hammer is missing plastic end caps.

Macduff you can still get NOS plastic caps on Eprey. Look them up for Stanley.

An alternative is to recycle old screwdriver handles into the caps.

Had a pretty good day again today....Delta / Rockwell lot for $300. Two scroll saws with stands (missing guide posts, one or two other parts, motors run well), two band saws (one wood / metal, one wood; tables are there, one needs trunnions and probably the support bracket, which I've extra of), two 15" drill presses (one has table issues, both may need return springs or they just may need adjusting...didn't have time to check), and a box full of miscellaneous and some NOS parts (not pictured, yet). Everything runs and technically functions, just needs a little TLC.

Pretty slow weekend around here for garage sales. I found a batch of SK knurled base 1/2" sockets and a big bag of sheet metal screws at one stop for $2. At another I picked up a minty P&C 1/4" ratchet for $7.

Using a week of vacation time, I'm staying a couple nights at a big casino resort. Won some cash last night and hot the antique shops into little towns around today. prices are insane on most everything. But I did find a little tack hammer with a partial logo, dont recognize it, a string of old sockets, maybe blackhawks, and a DBE with some numbers and no makers mark so far. few other random rusty sockets. and a REALLY NICE anvil in perfect condition...lmao I cant believe the price on that thing!!

If that shelf behind the anvil is the same size as mine of the same design, looks like the anvil is right about 12in long.

Picked up some new to me shop equipment today won at auction last week. The 20 ton press was listed as a "Pittsburgh" brand, aka HF 20 ton press. At the final price of $81 plus commission and tax I thought I was still doing good since HF sells them for $189 less any coupon. When I picked it up today I was pleasantly surprised to find it was a much heavier and sturdier frame and not made by HF, It only had a replacement Pittsburgh brand bottle jack on it. Hence their listing mistake. I was also surprised to find it had an air cylinder installed to allow pumping the hydraulics with air rather than only by hand. Also had a dial indicator and some tooling pieces included. A couple of bonus features I did not count on. So I'm pretty happy with the deal.
IMG_2555.jpgIMG_2557.jpg

Item #2 was a fabricated steel stock rack. I've been wanting a smaller design for a long time and most auction racks are from big shops and just too big for a home shop size. This one is perfect at 48" tall by 31" wide. It will fit nicely in my shop and allow me to get my steel supplies more organized. At $30 plus commission and tax I don't think I could buy the raw steel and make it myself cheaper. And the bonus here was it came with a bunch of round bar stock still on it that also made it into my truck.
IMG_2553.jpgIMG_2556.jpg

The last item was a Troy Built gas powered pressure washer. 5.0 HP Honda motor and 2600 PSI pressure rating and a partial gallon of degreaser solution.

Rag, you have yourself a p&c dbe! If it is civilian it will be labeled p&c. If it is military it may not have a logo and the part number may appear something like n-90 or another odd part number

How do you like that P&C 1/4 ratchet? I've never had one in hand to examine next to a Thorsen version, but Like SK's roundhead ratchets, my Action 1/4 I like a lot better than the larger sizes of the same ratchet. It also has a tiny head.

Nice !
The perfect size shelves for storing spray paint cans.
I picked up 4 last year @ $50ea.
I lost some wall space, but it was worth it.

JD, Better pics of the "weird" Hammer?

Outlaw- sorry to disappear! I went down with the creeping crud for a week. Finally got some pictures of this thing. It's 1.5lbs, only about 5 inches long. No makers marks or stamping on it. Neat shape, kind of a square head. Maybe some kind of light metalworking tool?

That looks more like a body dolly or some other kind of metal shaping tool to me.

Kind of looks like a heel dolly with a handle.
I wonder if it was made by Atha or Stanley/Atha ?
It has that look.
