Hitachi 15-amp 14" cut off saw. Comes with a GS12Q grinder.
Grinder is readily available online (CPO, etc) for around $50-60.
The set is on sale near me for $150, from $200. Stacked a $20 off $100 coupon on it to get a grinder and decent cut off saw for $130. I didnt need the grinder but I was in the market for a cheap steel saw.

Ugh. I cant keep up with you guys.
Picked it up today. Box was hammered but everything was in tact. there were only 2 left in the state according to the website. Definitely nothing fancy but it will be perfect for building the rock sliders and rear rack for my side by side. I'll still be money ahead even if I use it once.

FYI - They arent on the website but my Lowe's i having a pretty big appliance clearance sale going on right now on old stock and returns. Anywhere from 25-75% off. My wife and I are eyeing a nice $4200 samsung fridge that is marked down to $1799.

I thought I would share the following tripod LED. Retail price $55.99 (the stores that list it out of stock). Clearance price now $22.40. I’ll share more often if this post receives enough likes. Oh...this was one of my own discoveries which I posted here exclusively. So...enjoy!
This is certainly intresting since I posted the above deal >>>No one here is discussing it and the stores that had...yes, the stores that did have them for $22.40 are sold out in my area and the nearby states. With a coupon I purchased a set of two for about $18 each. What a sweet deal!
I’ll post a top secret deal I was looking in the tool section as usual for any deals to keep track of for future purchases. I came across the leatherman wingman knife. None where on the shelf, but after checking the online quantity on Lowes, they claimed there were 8 in stock...hmm.
I passed on this hidden gem, but maybe someone’s store will have it at the listed price my store has it. Oh yeah...online at the same store location, Lowes had it listed for more money. This is odd.

It’s about time...this deal has made it to online status. It’s been this way I’ve noticed since Dec where deals are posted at the store...but not at the same time while online. This just means everyone will have to keep their eyes peeled for deal searching while at the store.

I *HATE* abrasive saws but I picked one up to use with the Lenox Metalmax blade. I have yet to use it, but I love the metalmax/Diablo blades on my 4-1/2" grinder... so I think it will be great.

Yep! This was the strategy! Everything I have seemed to read is any old chop saw will work fine as long as you have a quality blade.

Was digging through some of the clearance carts today. They had a ton of brass fittings in plastic bins there. There were two brands (I forgot the names already), and one of the brands every one I scanned would result in "item not found". Went to checkout and asked for a price check and it was not in the master DB... Great... Went back to plumbing and talked to guy there and he said he would have to add them back in the system... There wern't any fittings that I really needed so I opted to just pass as I didn't care to waste any more time there after searching probably an hour for just a few simple machine screws that I needed....
They did have this Jasco stuff for .44 cents each so I grabbed the last 6 on the cart. I realize the online price says .17 cents but it didn't show inventory in my store either and it was a flipping mad house there on a Saturday afternoon I just wanted to get out of the store...

i didnt find any really good deals at my local lowes except a bit ratchet set for $12.98 that i wish i had a week ago putting a belt on the washer, and i was running low on square bits and got tried of having to look for them and picked up a 43 peice screwdriver bit set that was on sale for $9.98 to go in the tool box

Some people are local, other times a store will ship something if asked when ordered. A lot of clearance deals at Lowes are special order returns/items that are not normally stocked, that the store sells for a huge discount when returned... and it will ONLY apply to that store.
Not like when an item goes non-stock at an entire region or nationwide.
Ditto my friend, Woodturner9 should know that.

A possible reason - you know the saying along the lines, ‘proof or it didn’t happen’. I would say the community benefits more when forum members contribute being very detailed oriented even down to the city where the item was discovered at a lower price. H3ck, something might start to be marked down on clearance on the east coast and vice versa with the western region, and if the OP posts detailed information with their discover in terms of the State and city, it helps others keep an open eye out for it to be marked down in their region if there isn’t a shipping store out there willing to ship the item.
At any rate...it doesn’t hurt to be more descriptive as to where the item was found at a lower price.

I'm checking out the air purifier gumme posted. I see it for $6, $12, $24 and these locations are all within probably 40 miles of each other. Doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to the pricing structure.
