so ive done some research and ive begun to really like wright tools. i requested a catoluge from them and not 10 min later a lady called me on the phone to ask me about me request. that in itself impressed me and from what ive heard there tools are top notch. i was just curious if any one had any experience with their tool chests and rollers. i think i heard somewhere they where made in canada but are they of as good of quality as their tool?

Wright tools are ****!! Terrible Warranty service. I would definitely not bid on any ebay auctions containing Wright and you should probably sell off your current stuff. If you need help selling any Wright tools, contact me via PM and i will set you up with a guy who gives .20 cents on the pound. Lemme know...

Yep, made in Canada. I'm very pleased with my WT503 I got off eBay. Much better than the Waterloo chest I bought online.

I bought a couple of large rolling boxes at an auction several months ago- and the folks here on GJ enlightened be about them. They are indeed made by International, and the boxes I got are NICE.

There's a thread somewhere here about them, but IIRC, these boxes have a retail price of ~$1200 when labelled as International or ~$2700 when labelled as Wright. I would have to say they are NOT quite as nice as some of the SO or other pro boxes I've seen, but they are worlds better than any Cman or other similar boxes.

High-quality boxes... But, yes, you can save a lot of money by buying the identical OEM International versions.

so hiball what make you say that these tools are ****. seems like every one that i have heard on the subject says they are pretty damn good tools. do you have any reasons for you hating them. i requested a catalogue from them and not ten minutes after i hit the submit button a lady called me on the phone,(apperently someone still knows how to use one instead of email and text.) and asked me a couple of questions to make sure i got what i wanted. If you ask me thats pretty good customer service. If you have valid reasons i should not buy from them id like to hear them because just telling me they are **** and should go in the scrap iron pile really doesnt help me make decisions very well. and thanks for the info on the boxes.

Hes just messing around he actually likes Wright tools just fine which is why he was willing to take any you have off your hands. :lol_hitti. It takes a while to pick up on the humor around here sometimes.

As far as the boxes go I'm sure they are fine but you can save a lot of money going straight to the OEM for them. As far as the stuff Wright makes themselves which is most of the stuff with their name on it everything is top notch.
