Is there a Hi-Flow version push connect coupler?

Hi guys,

I bought the husky one to try to help with blowing my tool out of the coupler when changing them. It’s time consuming having to turn the pressure down each time. I use multiple tools at the same time sometimes. I guess I could have multiple hoses run, but I think for my application, this would be easier.

I use 1/4inxh Hi-Flow Milton V couplers and the husky ones. The husky push connect coupler that’s supposed to not release air when disconnecting,
Is a Universal coupler. It just does not work
With hi-Flow plugs. Any input on this? I did search it, but not really helping.

Sorry the picture is sideways. It’s not the way I took it.

All plugs will lose some air when disconnecting...there's air between the coupler and the trigger of whatever tool you're using.

I know that, a little is ok. But this is supposed to help reduce it and reconnect. I’ll check it out.

I use industrial 3/8" body couplings and plugs. They are available with the common 1/4" npt ends and have much larger internals. Most people are using the cheaper 1/4" body fittings and plugs.
my couplers are Prevost brand

I’m using Hi-Flow 1/4 plugs. They measure about the same as 3/8th internally. I was going to switch until I saw there was almost no gain, but having larger plugs and couplers to drag around. I can take a measurement again. If I went G series, that’s 99CFM!

This...there are different versions of this...so do a bit of research to figure out which works for you set up...they are a bit pricey...but worth it.:rocker:

Not sure if the actual coupler is high flow but I have to say I've been very pleased with Coilhose universal (5 in 1) safety coupler. It will connect to just about every common male fitting including hi-flo. They've held up a lot better than the plastic safety couplers like posted above. After a few months of hitting the floor those plastic ones seem to break inside.

I sell Prevost and the Euro High Flow profile is the their most popular. If you've already got 20+ tools with a different profile, stick with that. But if you're just starting out, the "green button" Prevost couplers do flow more air (see air plug comarison photo).
