Upgrade to Snap on Hex and Torx sockets
Buy a mid box which be full as soon as I get it... :(
Buy more tools...Ive got a list that is growing. Next up, a stubby 3/8 snap on, and one of the 3/8 drive in a 1/4" body ratchets.

If you're talking about socket drivers, get the gold Heavy Duty Removal ones. Well worth the money, they're tough as nails.

My resolution is when i go into sears to buy things, to stop assuming every employee there is useless.

This was my resolution last year...it didn't hold up...

To try to adjust my tool spending towards specific projects until they are complete before spending money on new/side projects.

Try to quit buying older used SAE tools and try to expand my metric tools into the larger sizes.
Find more pawnshop bargins so I can buy more tools period.

Thanks, Ive got a few triple square bits I got for the Head bolts on my GTI, the extra long ones. Im planning out a VR6 swap in it so I will certainly need to remove the driveshafts. :)

Then you may find this interesting:

http://www.034motorsport.com/article_info.php?articles_id=146

I assume they kept the radiator up front, nothing suggests it has been moved. The VR6 is shorter than the Audi straight-5, which has the radiator to the side, so it may fit with jus trimming. I believe Phaetons and Touaregs run the 3.6-litre VR6s, but they have longer front ends.

Good luck with the project, make a thread on it when you start! :)

Make better use of the stuff I already have before buying anything new. Maybe this'll be the year I make good on this one.

I think i might make some hard handle drilling jigs..

Or buy a lathe..

Ok, jigs.. i'm too poor for a lathe.

I have the opposite problem have 3 lathes 2 CNC. If I can't find handles(only have 10 or so) all just make my own. Have to find the time though.:D

I was thinking pink , purple, royal blue since I'm making copies.

get most of my tools all in the same location, and get my garage organized
well on the way to getting stuff together, been "forced" to move out of my shop, one of my landlords employees broke into my place and ripped me off, fortunately i got almost everything back. still MIA is my plasma cutter,( the dumbazzes dont remember where they pawned it at )after a heated argument with the landlord ive got 2 weeks to clear out. oh well, it'll save me rent $$ and i can keep a closer eye on my stuff now..
all i need now is storage space for alla my stuff and run some more outlets in the garage

Fill up the empty spaces in my tool box with more tools:
-Torque wrench
-Gear wrench set
-bolt extractor
To name a few....

Start buying tools for home use so I don't have to bring home tools from work when I need to work on my project/have side jobs.

This is an awesome project.
If you click on the pic of the engine the radiator is still in the front.
