That's a good find. I'm going to have to check out my watched items and might finally pull the trigger on stuff I've been on the fence for. Also the fine print sounds like you can use it on total amount in your cart, not just one item which is nice.

Wow, awesome coupon! Thanks for posting.

NOTE: You can use this coupon for multiple items by using the "add to cart" button, and then applying the coupon to all the items in your cart when you checkout. So add $500 worth of items to your cart to get the max discount of $100.

FYI, if you add items to your cart you can get a discount on multiple items also.

Thanks for the heads up

Awesome deal. I was able to get a couple Snap-On ratchets I wanted for a price I am very happy with. I kind of wished I had looked for some other stuff to get the max discount, but I didn't want to miss out on the ratchets.

Ebay homepage says until 8pm pacific. (11pm eastern)

Fine print: "while supplies last"

eBay tends to pull these big-ticket coupons early (presumably after a certain $$ of discounts has been redeemed). I of course hope they don't pull it early so everyone can make use of it.

Damn! I just put $449 worth of suspension parts in my cart, entered the coupon code once, and it took off $90! Thanks for the heads up!

If I win an auction can I put it in my cart and pay for it at the same time as "buy it now" items, using the discount.

As long as the item meets all other conditions of the coupon, yes.

Ah, oh well.

I snagged a few odds and ends I had watchlisted. Hope the rest of y'all get use of it too!

Thanks! Pulled the trigger on some items I've been planning to buy.
Seat foams for my 66 GS, some Evapo-rust, and a nitrogen cylinder for some upcoming AC work.

Got some dual exhaust for my LS build!
Too bad you can't use it more than once.

Picked up a couple sets of Snap-on semi-deep 3/8 impact sockets:

* 10 PC - 5/16 to 7/8, and
* 8 PC 8mm to 18mm (excl 9, 11 & 16)

for my new Milwaukee M18 impact driver. The sets are new/unused and wound up paying less than 1/2 of what they cost off the truck. Happy camper:)

Ugh. 95% of ebay sellers wont ship to me (Alaska).

I guess I'll just live vicariously through everyone else.

Got the Milwaukee m12 under hood light kit with battery and charger (don’t need charger but wanted the battery) for $160. Could have been $150 for the bare tool.

Very frustrating ebay experience tonight ... I built up my cart with items from my wishlist to try to maximize the discount, 16 to be exact. When I went to checkout no more than 12 of those items would show up, one item that I really wanted was a "last one" so I ended up pulling the trigger anyway (after about a half of an hour of trying different things). I read that if multiple people have the item in their cart but go to checkout, it will only be reserved for the first person while they are in checkout. This was not the case though, because I went back to the cart and checkout and the 4 items that were left now miraculously appeared. I guess ebay saved me from spending $50 additional dollars today...

Highlights: clamptite tool, new drop hitch for my suv and a 1.5t leverhoist.

As a seller, I always get hopeful for some sales when they run these promos, but it never seems to work out for me! It's all tools, come on GJ folk!

That said, I did manage to find a few things to buy. And in doing my research, I found Zoro dropped the prices on some pry bars I was eyeing, so I ended up dropping another hundred there as well!

Wow finally caught an ebay coupon that still worked. Thanks for the heads up. Scored $100 off a new Dewalt 20v Rotary Laser.

Milwaukee 2767-20 for $171.98 after code, the seller had 3 listed when I searched, but when I bought, it was the last one. Thanks for the tip.

You gotta be lucky for it to work out on auctions.

I rarely do auctions when I sell. All buy it now, & I also only post when there is a promo for the seller.

Missed taking advantage of it. Browsed earlier in the day, couldn't figure out, and napped like 30 minutes to long near exp time. Would have got a M12 Fuel 3/8 Wrench.

I got a notification on my phone. First time it came the day of the actual promotion. I was bumming cause I missed 15 off 75 the others day.

Also it was a more than one use. I used it three times. Wish I could have found a laser level before it ended

I scored $20 off a NOGA indicator holder I have been leaning towards.

Question for big-time ebay sellers - does ebay ask you to eat any of this or do they foot the whole bill?

No auctions, just a few hundred buy it now listings. I did sell a couple small items, but it was a lower than average day for me. I'd be curious to see Ebay's statistics on these sales.

Ebay covers the discount on sales like this. I'm not even sure I can find out if the buyer used a coupon. For the sales Ebay runs for a specific group of sellers, those may be different.

Coupon converts to currency at checkout sellers don't even know it was used. EBay recovers cost from sellers through high transaction costs (listing fees, selling fees, fees on shipping, PayPal fees and on and on)....

This was the best ebay coupon I can remember. I had to tell my wife to buy my BD gift a month early; saved $90 off an already good price. On top of that I got to use it on my account and save $30 more!

They take a good financial hit on this actually. They take roughly 10% all told, less for stores, so a true 10% discount is absorbed by ebay. PP is a separate entity that takes 3% which often goes right back into CC processing fees. Seems more like a marketing tactic to get people to make more purchases and listings later. They ran a similar deal in May last year (20% off certain categories up to $50 off) but that was the only one I remember. I don't think we'll see this more than once a year.

With all the fees that have reaped (or minus an 'e') out of me for selling, they are still way ahead. Googled has stepped on plenty of other toes (ie. Amazon), so I can't wait for the day they do auctions.
