Tool resolutions for the New Year?

Find a 1 7/8" black oxide Snap-on combo wrench to complete my set up to 2".

Find a set of Mac 1/4" knurled extensions.

Get a set of extra long metric combo wrenches.....either ********'s or Snappy's.

Pick up a TL72, TF72, SL80, SLF80, RAT80, and a RAT72.

Add to my crowsfeet collection. By the way, I just got the Jan. 2010 Cornwell flyer. The 10-19mm set is on sale.

Upgrade my air ratchets. I have a 20+ year old 1/4" Mac and a AT700D Blue Point that needs a rebuild. I'd like to get a FAR7200 or FAR72C and a FAR25A.

Find a PT200L die grinder. That Mac extended die grinder I bought is a POS!

Sell or trade the extra tools I have already before I buy more "'cause it was a good deal" extras/duplicates/triplicates. I really need to work on this one. I'm swimming in screwdrivers and 1/4" drive stuff right now.

a FAR25A can be had cheap on ebay. I got mine for 30 bucks and it happens to have a fresh rebuild

Become more of a seller on Ebay (not tools) and stop with the impulse tool buying especially anything of the spline variety. That is my current weakness.

so ive got more specialized stuff around close if i need it.

Get the garage in order. I bought 5 of those Sears gorilla-like shelving units and I need to get them assembled and things sorted ut.

Go through the toolbox and target tools that need to be upgraded. The multimeter thread has schooled me on how sad my current unit is.

Need to work on completing my 6 point wrench sets.

Sort out my pullers, get them stored correctly and sell off the douplicates.

1) Finish the barn remodel.
2) get the tools, benchs, assembly table, storage inand organized.
3) start to rebuild my gas-start diesel engine for my International 400 tractor.
4) Add more and more tools as I need them to fill gaps and collections I have started.

I assume they kept the radiator up front, nothing suggests it has been moved. The VR6 is shorter than the Audi straight-5, which has the radiator to the side, so it may fit with jus trimming. I believe Phaetons and Touaregs run the 3.6-litre VR6s, but they have longer front ends.

Thats pretty cool. Ive got it all planned out, its a MK2 GTI so the VR swap is just about completely bolt in other than the radiator hoses. I got sidetracked though because I blew the head gasket in my Jeep.

Get a Chicago Pneumatic 3/8" angle drill.

Get a larger assortment of o-ring picks and radiator hose picks.

Finish off my metric wrench sets.

1. Complete MY Plomb WF collection. (Not the WHOLE WF collection, just the 10 or so pieces I am missing from my displays.)

2. Sort through my collection and sell off the pieces I really don't need. (Yeah, some Plomb collector might just be very happy.)

3. Never buy a Craftsman tool again. I'm switching to Wright.

4. Buy a complete set of Allen, Torx and swivel sockets in SAE and Metric in 3/8" drive.

5. Buy 1/2" swivel impacts sockets.

6. Buy a 5x" bottom cabinet so I can actually use my garage and work benches.

If you don't like the soft on the FHOF80 you can always swap a nice hard handle onto it. I'm putting a nice orange one on my SHF80.

As for the Instinct handles, i didn't think i'd like them, but i do find them more comfortable every time i pick one up. They're growing on me.
