Knurled locking extension

Hello All,

I'm looking for a knurled locking extension with a length of no more than 3" or less. Ideally the knurling would be on the shaft of the extension. Country of origin is relatively important (USA), however, beggers can't be choosers.

This is the closest I have found, however the knurling is on the QR portion of the extension. Any suggestions?

Sonic Tools, the knurling is at the top. made in Taiwan seems to be the general consensus.

Unfortunately for me, this 3/8 MAC extension is exactly what I'm looking for. $50 is steep. Thanks for all the suggestions!

Koken makes nice ones with knurling at the top, made in Japan, excellent quality fit and finish but not sure if they offer locking. Something to check out

SK makes, or used to make some. 45184 is a 4.5" locking extension with knurling on the shaft and the QR mechanism. There was probably a shorter one too, but that's the shortest I own.

EDIT: Looks like they are calling this one a 3", but 4.5" is the actual overall length. Still on the market.

Mac extensions are made in the USA, and with the knurling on the drive end are probably my favorite.

I warrantied one through the mail last year and they're still (surprisingly) USA made. Same can't be said for their spark plug socket sets.

Hands down best extensions in the world for doing spark plugs, the knurling helps. Watch ebay, they turn up pretty often.

I like the knurling on MAC as well, and they are excellent quality.

$50 is steep but if the trouble it saves you is worth $50 - then it's all good.
