Mine never saw heavy use. Stripping wire for electrical components/circuit board jumpers and the like. I seriously doubt they would make it jostling around in a tool box for years doing any real work. I bought those in high school doing car audio in the summers. They were like 20 bucks which wasnt throw away for me back then. I tried to take care of them and theu have held up ok. Some rust here and there but still function fine.I have those. But mine have not held up that well. The plastic handles have broken off. This is likely fromme dropping them or trying to crimp things that are to big for the pliers.
I do have tons of electrical connectors and solder and many many other things in my electrical box with radio shack on them. I do miss them.

That would be cool to see.I still have mine. and still use them. I put a glove on if I need to squeeze hard. I am thinking of buying a 3d printer and all this talk made me think of making handles for them!!
For me it's wing nuts. I dont even like using wing nuts but i have a can full of the darn things.I have many rolls of Radio Shack solder... I feel like we all have one item in our shop that we lose and re-buy on the rare occasion that we need it.
For me, it's solder. I never use it and probably have 2-3 lbs of various diameters.
