If you are referring to the USAG 256 AN/S5 - SET OF 5 WRENCHES FOR CONNECTORS set pictured below?

Well the place that I purchased from was from Mister Worker website.

Really didn't shop around to find the lowest price due to the fact that sources were very limited when I looked. :dunno:

If you buy it all at once the relief for you tool sickness is short. You must spread out it out over time or the disease will just get stronger and stronger!

Ok. Thanks. Are you in the US? I'm asking because of shipping...

Yes I sure am. I'm located down here in Central South Texas.

Shipping is definitely a factor to consider but if you're like me and really want something, price for shipping has to take a back seat.

Let me just clarify something though. This is just me but I am in the process of buying good tools that contain three basic factors that I look for. Which are "Quality, Dependability & Reliability". Price and brand name are not considered. With that stated, Five years or so ago I started the process of gradually replacing my main go to tools with good ones that meet those qualities that I listed previously.

I made up my mind that if I'm going to spend good money $ on tools then they are going to be the best that I can afford. Tools that I actually enjoy using.

I want my personal tools and tools that I actually use to last many, many years even out last my lifetime. Tools that will be passed down way after I'm gone and still be considered good to use.

Some domestic and some foreign and well if foreign then I am willing to pay the price to have them shipped to me from the other side of the world.

I've had tools shipped to me from France, Japan, Germany, Italy and Switzerland combined with some tools manufactured here in the U.S.that make up my tool collection.

I picked this pressure washer up at Curb Mart yesterday evening. If it were anywhere other than the lane behind my neighbour's place, I would have thought it was broken. I plugged the pressure washer in this afternoon and it works perfectly.
My neighbour throws some fantastic things out. This is the second pressure washer. The other pressure washer was stuck. A little encouragement with a screwdriver and that electric pressure washer started working. That was five years ago.
There is a steady run of garden tools including several fertiliser spreaders, a construction wheelbarrow and a super heavy duty hand truck. I still have three very expensive garden hoses and my daughter's BF got two other 50 footers. And then there was the like new self propelled lawnmower. I was sitting on my shop stool at the open shop door. A garden service was driving up the lane. The truck stopped and the passenger asked if the mower was any good. They checked it out and offered me $150 for it. I sold it because I have a Honda mower.

Brought this little baby home yesterday. Brand spanking new!

Sold my 50yr old Bridgeport, and bought this as a retirement present to myself.
Hired a wrecker boom truck to lift it off the trailer and get it off the pallet, then lowered it to my pallet jack and wheeled it into my shop.

I got a box from Sears today, inside was my new 5" Knipex plierswrench. After SYW points, it cost me $20. I don't know how long Sears can continue selling at a loss

Congrats!! So what did you get, it's too hard to tell off my phone but it looks new or almost new. Is it a 9 x 42? And any plans for a DRO?

Brand spanking new ACER 9 x 49, and yes, I'll be transplanting the DRO and table feed that I had on my Bridgeport to this machine. Have to get a longer scale for the table though. The Bridgeport table was 42 inches long, this one is 49 inches long.

Scored this for the same price as a 56" masterforce. Now I need more tools to occupy the space.

Finally got my metric set of Wrightgrip wrenches - they were backordered.

And yes, like the SAE set I got, one wrench of the set is not a 2.0. Good thing I am not OCD :lol_hitti

A couple new additions today.

Last week we did a clutch using yet again the same trusty redneck transmission jack adapter that has yet to fail so far, ...

newtools(1).jpg

But it did give me pause in HF today. I figured if they'd take the digital 20% off coupon (the one that excludes 'floor jacks' so :dunno: ) of what they were asking for this little guy then I'd bring it home with me. The cashier gave it a shot and sure enough it took it. Not too sure about it yet. Anyone here have any experience with one of these?

newtools(2).jpg

Then, when I got home, there was the latest edition to team yellow sitting at my front door waiting for me. :D

I have / have used one of those hft trans jacks and they are pretty good for the money! Sometime they also work better or are the only thing able to fit into tight spots unlike the bigger floor jack style ones. I have pulled a super heavy cast iron np 205 transfer case with it and a light aluminum transmission with it . As long as you don't try to maneuver it once it has a load on it, you are ok. Straight up and down like a scissor lift and that thing is worth it's weight in gold!

LOL which one is 1.0? I have read here before that Wright makes runs of individual sized sockets/wrenches, so they are essentially in large bins, and assembled into sets by hand, so things like this can happen. I'm sure if you got ahold of their customer service line, they'd make it right. It's worth a shot.

Good to know. Thanks.

I looked at the reviews on the HF site (after I bought it, of course) and they seemed generally positive, but I don't tend to trust them very much. The one review I ever posted at HF was a one-star negative one about a pressure washer that only worked 15 minutes or so before it coughed a puff of smoke and died. Returned it less than 2 hours after it was bought for a refund and posted my thoughts about it. The review stayed up a week or so before I noticed they had scrubbed it from the site.

The 12mm. I thought about calling, but it doesn't really bother me. On the SAE set I didn't even realize one was missing the "2.0" until someone on this board pointed it out in the picture I posted
