I wasn't planning on going to any sales today, but my neighbor sends me a picture of a BUNCH of old NOS USA Cman wrenches he said he got for $17 or something like that. Guy used to work in the Springdale plant back in the day. He's moving so he's trying to sell everything in his house.
So I go there and I'm *really* trying not to buy any more trays of sockets, even though he would sell a whole tray for like $40...
Instead I go for the large sockets only, and wrenches. Unfortunately he didn't have any bagged sets of wrenches except for the older style ratcheting with the lever on the back (chinese but still nice). I also found a couple bagged sets of the 3/8" impact sockets, Metric & SAE... I don't know how or why but those were chinese too.
Lots and lots of USA wrenches... Combo, DBE, DOE, metric, sae, chrome, black oxide... I got some huge DBE's that I've never seen that large before!
I grabbed the largest of the sockets he had, mostly metric, some SAE. Also got a fair amount of 1/2" drive impact sockets and even some 3/4" impacts...
Found a 3/4" USA Flex head breaker!
A USA 1/4" speeder, still has the sticker on it.
Oh, I also found a little 1/2-9/16 DBE Stubby? Never seen one of those. Seems like it would be a super handy backup wrench.
Still going through the boxes, not really sure what all is in there... lol.
Good score on some of that! I have a set of those Craftsman ratcheting reversible wrenches and those same impact sockets. I like them both. Of course they were purchased before I realized sizes are skipped, so I'm jealous of that 18MM wrench and a few of those sockets.
