Great minds. I just got this. With a mower that has 108 grease fittings, I vowed to get an upgrade for this year. Here it is!

I bought a pile of Westward sockets from Grainger and 7 of them don't have the ball dent cut into the square drive part of the socket. Bummer. I'll take them into Grainger and see what they say.

I have a feeling this may end up being difficult to get rectified because I suspect it is a manufacturing error that would be across an entire batch. I would think that they would have no problem replacing the defective sockets, but getting a good one might mean someone I can't talk to pay attention to something that they won't. Hopefully I am wrong.

IMStuner, how do you like those Pittsburg locking extensions so far? I don't have any locking extensions and as infrequently as I have thought they might be helpful, I figured I would try some low cost ones out..

I would stay far far away from cheap locking extensions. I read a review where the extension fell apart and a screw fell into a sprk plug hole and destroyed a BMW engine. (The poor guy didn’t know it had fallen into there)

Sounds to me like this will end up being a full return rather than a replacement.

It’s pretty decent for the price and they were 20 bucks.

I found with the locking extensions that they didn’t lock on some of my sockets. I have a variety of Snapon, MAC, Matco, And box store stuff. It depends on the socket but other than that they seem nice. I did return them and pick up a Mac set.

I think they're the sturdiest pliers of that style you can buy. I never actually used this style until I got a snap on pair, now I use them a ton.

Every other pair I've tried just feels...lacking? The Snap-Ons just feel right, I use them all the time. They really grip!

Bought these at Northern Tool & Equipment in Savannah, Georgia. I found this place while staying at our place on Tybee Island.

This is a few of the items purchased.

Kong gloves, small stubby metric wrench set and a 11 1/2 Klutch flex head, 72 tooth ratchet.

Got this for $15 + $6 shipping on Amazon. This thing is awesome! High quality casting with no casting marks or indications. The jacking screw doesn't have any burs and has a smooth action. It has TWO guide pins unlike most caliper spreaders and they're mechanically fastened with set screws. I don't think I own a tool anywhere near this quality for this price. Can't wait to put this work on my 911's brakes. :rocker:

Got some tile work coming up, so I found this Target on CL for $295. It was a retired rental. Cleanest I've seen. 1-1/2 HP Baldor motor runs like a champ. Bought a tile blade since it came with a brick blade. Even had all the table attachments and the manual. Most others on CL look like relics from WW2 bombings or Chinese ****.
