Lot of tools have followed me home in the last few days.
New welding hood, this hood is amazing.
Finally upgraded from my crappy HF abrasive saw. I wanna switch out the blade to something geared specifically to metal but its so much better than the abrasive. My only complaint is there seems to be a spot that hangs the gaurd up a little bit.
Menards was having a sale on Sanders and my ridgid wouldnt hold the paper to save its life.
And finally this little guy came home with me this morning. After spending months looking for a decent little press and constantly having things fall through I snapped this one up. Gonna do a new chuck and maybe vfd conversion

I just started buying M12 tools. I haven't got to the M18 yet, but I really like them.

Now toss those batteries and get the big square ones. I use my M12 more than I use my M18 tools. I love them.
Lol, the only reason I bought this was for the batteries. I got the entire kit for $60 so the drill was almost like a bonus. Now I can start getting the ratchets I've been wanting. I'm way too invested in M18 stuff to start over, I'm up too 10 tools now I think.

That is not way too invested, besides, I never said start over, they compliment each other. You should buy the soldering iron, the 1/4” and 3/8” impacts, you can thank me later.
How about one of the new Skilsaw table saws?
I assembled it and set it up. Tilt stop and blade alignment were accurate out of the box; rip fence was not, but easily corrected.
The recip saw was a promo that came free with the table saw. Quite the deal. I already have a recip saw - a USA-made Craftsman Industrial - but the Skilsaw recip is over twice as powerful. (Also 2.5lb heavier, but I guess that's the tradeoff.)

Harbor Freight haul. The Astro knock off was still gone.
New dead blow hammers. My old ones were done. They lasted me several years. Can't complain about a $7 hammer.

decided to take a look at AAP's 50% off sale... also bought the 3/8" metric shallow set but it was not available at any of the local stores so it had to be shipped
at 50% off i just couldn't not do it... HF sets aren't much cheaper than what these ran and you get fewer sockets and don't get the really nice socket rails
I have one of those Diablo hoses. It's maybe six months old and is starting to crack pretty badly on the compressor end. Hopefully it lasts for a while but I've seen hoses hold up better that were left out in the sun.

We’ll have to see I guess. Do you leave your compressor on all the time? I use mine about once a month. And drain the air after use.

So, I do a fair bit of traveling for work. I'm an R&D Engineer, but sometimes get sent to location when a field service engineer is needed. As some of you may know, I know Amazon's pricing algorithm quiet well and share a lot of good deals in the perma thread.
I wanted a knipex case, and I saw it had dropped from roughly $500 to $120. It was a nice hard shell case with pockets for tools and a handle + wheels. Something I thought would be ideal for checking into TSA and rolling around the airport.
When I received the package..it was really heavy. I thought to myself that this was going to be useless since it was too heavy to check in and be under 50lbs.
Well...I opened it up and it has just about every 1000V Insulated Knipex tool that they offer. I'm still in disbelief....they forgot the handle and wheels.

I'm about to buy the 2860-22 from HD tomorrow. I like the small impacts and drills for small stuff. DeWalt doesn't have them. I mostly work on motorcycles, and my van. But M18 is on the way.
