Best of luck on the pour and don't forget some pics.

When we poured my garage pad, it was 10% chance of rain and awesome weather to pour. I guess I should have bought a lottery ticket that day, that 10% got me.

Be prepared.

Nice looking building cvcman.

Are they / you putting the wire mesh up on chairs / dobies?

If they are just pulling it up as they pour... it'll almost all ends up laying on the vapor barrier.

I have a buddy who has demolished a lot of concrete.. he says 90% of mesh is found on the ground.

Yup. Sounds like fibermesh. It helps control early age shrinkage cracks. Basically buys you time to get your saw cutting done. It's a nice addition to wire, which will hold the cracks in the bottom of your saw cuts together.

You've got all your bases covered. Fiber to delay your cracks, saw cuts to hide them and wire to hold em together.

Im a bit OCD, I called the concrete dealer, he said " the old fibres were longer and you could see them, these new ones are ULTRA fibre...much better and they don't show on the surface...it is a commercial mix, you will be happy"

yea they are going all around the outside edge now with hand screed, they have already done one pass with the power screed with brand new blades...
Looks good so far,,,they are fussy, they covered the walls with poly so any splashes didn't get on my walls..everything looks nice and neat.
This guy has done lots of work locally and I have never heard anything bad about his work...
