My store had a buy back on that paint. You never know what will happen.

Yeah I went to my store today too since there was supposed to be a bunch. Where all the rustolem was supposed to be it was now Krylon. I saw a guy putting new stickers on the rack and asked him about the Rustoleum and he said it was a buyback and they already pulled and boxed them all up...

I even looked in the overhead and couldn't find any extra...

They had a couple pallets near by with the new Krylon...

I guess I should have gone sooner rather than later... If you guys are wanting any of this paint don't wait as it will get pulled if it hasn't already...

Found these at the local Lowes today. Was shopping for mower blades but made a walk past the landscape lighting section:

Great for landscape lighting. And yes, I've seen some of the reviews, but I'm convinced most of that is user error. I've had one of these in use for the last 3 years and never a day of trouble. Retail $60 and I snagged 4 for $6 each.

Also found these, which will look AWESOME I think on the steps down to the pool:

Retail for $40+ probably and they were on clearance for $4.50.

No idea if your local Lowes has same deals, but worth a look if you're in the market for this sort of thing.

These look ugly as hell, with terrible reviews, BUT for 1.75 and that includes shipping.
Why not take a chance, Mom's might like them in the garden.

If that's the case I may contact customer support and see what they have to say. I did snag three rolls at $5, then I started to add up how many feet of wire I would need to wire my barn and figured I would try for three more because I have a basement to do down the road also.

I just buy in 1,000ft spools anymore, doesn't spoil.
Have 4 empty right now, need more 14-2.

Well seeing that the 1000 foot spools are $286 (28.6 cents per foot) and the last three 250 foot rolls I got I paid $5 each for (.02 per foot) I can live with the smaller rolls. Even at $25 per roll that is .10 per foot. Once I get the barn and basement done it will be years before I need another roll of wire. I still have a partial spool of 14-2 in the garage that is I'm betting 15-20 years old. I just don't use much of that.

Also store had like 4 carts piled high with light bulbs over in appliance area (only open floor space I guess)... I swear it's like more and more are appearing there each week. Prices varied wildly of course...

That is very true. I always save any potentials in the Lowe's App Quicklist before I go to check on stuff. I have spent hours in Lowe's with my neck craned to the top shelves. It has panned out many times. However if I see only one in stock and I don't really want it I just scan the areas it might be quick and move on.

Remember sometimes inventory may show 1 but that may be the display, if so you may be able to cut a better deal. Shipping may be a prob.

I bought the last 2 hammers they had in Madison, AL. I bet they cancel my order.
For some reason, when I logged into my account, the price went to almost $30 a piece!

Here are the locations for one of the Stanley Fatmax Hammers that's on sale. I only listed the ones at $8.99 because the list was immense. Also if the store # is less than 4 digits add zeros.

Appreciate the effort, but if there is not a specific location for parcel shipping it's just as easy for people to search their local stores online to see prices. Especially since everyone knows some of the hammers have been clearancing out for weeks now...

Just got a phone call from Lowe's. Yep, they cancelled the order. Said they do not carry that specific hammer. It showed 2 in stock online. She said "That's was at closing time yesterday". My response was Sooooo...you don't carry that hammer but you had 2 yesterday?

She said "No sir, we have never carried that hammer."

They might have it in one of the clearance areas or even up top with other inventory... I *rarely* ever do "in store pickup"... It's pointless when your store employees are lazy like that. Sure, half the time their inventory is off and the products are MIA, the other half of the time when I go to the store for something else I'll see what I tried to do for pickup sitting there in the wrong place... *rolleyes*

That's why now 99% of the things I buy from lowes are "Parcel Shipping" for multiple reasons...

1. It's free to ship to your home.

2. They always get fulfilled, except the small 1% chance when you buy a clearance item that's like 95% off that you really shouldn't be allowed to order.

3. I was tired of going to the store, even when they say like 50 of something in stock, and yet it is nowhere to be found (even with an employee or two helping)...

That is very true. I always save any potentials in the Lowe's App Quicklist before I go to check on stuff. I have spent hours in Lowe's with my neck craned to the top shelves. It has panned out many times. However if I see only one in stock and I don't really want it I just scan the areas it might be quick and move on.

Never trust count or price at the stores. No matter which one it is. They are very lazy at most stores about pulling orders.

I picked up a couple of these. Works just as you guessed. Take the card(s) to the register. The cashier will ask how much you want loaded. The cards in the store I visited could be loaded from $25 to $500 each. If, for example, you want $500 loaded the register will load that amount on the card via the register scanner and you will owe $425. The register automatically applies the discount. The store I was in only accepted cash or debit cards for any gift card purchase. YMMV. Easy as can be, in and out in minutes.

Oh, and the cashier said she had never seen anyone spend that much at Dollar General. I replied it was my first time too. As I walked out I was reminded of that recent Darius Rucker song!

Pro tip: In the next day or so, use the online site listed on the back of the card(s) you just purchased to verify the balance.

You can use Lowe's gift cards online, but it's a bit risky. If anything goes wrong with your order that ends up needing a refund, they won't put the money back on your gift cards automatically, you have to call and beg for the funds to be restored (which may only happen by them mailing you a replacement card with the same problem as described below). Easier to use them in-person, for things you know are in stock and can't get cancelled on you.

And if you end up needing to return something, returning in person should get the refund done correctly. But even then, according to https://slickdeals.net/f/10569756-l...with-gift-card-to-in-store-merchandise-credit , it won't actually go back on the original gift cards - they'll give you a replacement gift card (actually "merchandise credit" card) which can only be used in-store. Apparently Home Depot does the same thing now too, BTW.
