Garage Force - garage floor coating - anyone have experience?

I've never heard of them or heard them mentioned on here.
I would suggest checking out the vendors on this forum.

I was referred to them by someone on our local car forum... price came out to the same as professional epoxy, but it is supposed to be stronger and quicker turn around time. No UV fade either...

I'll post up my experience, have them booked to come out early December.

Just an update....pricing was similar to professional epoxy install. ($4 to $5.50 per sq foot depending on finish)

I liked the quick install and the fact that you can park a vehicle on it in 24 hours. They claim to be 20 times stronger than epoxy with a warranty.

Sorry, but dont have better pics. So far I'm happy...easy ti keep clean.

The concrete was really slick when wet and this has helped a lot. The grading in the garage isn't done well when first poured in 1999 and I have a few spots of standing water, thats the only issue I have but not related to the coating.

How is this holding up? I have a quote from them as well as Gorilla Garage, but Garage Force was much more reasonable.

You want an installer that does this everyday and uses quality products.
Not a part-time guy or jack of all trades unless he has good list of references.

He should own his own grinder or blaster, quality dust vacs, etc... NO ETCHING.

Your proposal should list the brand and product name for all coats.

Make sure the topcoat is polyaspartic, polyurea or urethane at a minimum.

Warranty is NOT a big concern as most warranties are full of loop holes, references outweigh a warranty and a good installer will have tons of pics on his i-phone, i-pad showing his process as he will likely be proud of his work and business, if he is good.

On our experience, floor coatings are a get what you pay for business. Check carefully the thickness they are quoting, number of coats, gallonage being used, etc. often we gave seen customers buy floors and they fail quickly, so the bargain wasn't so great.

Just an update as it has been some time since the install and the floors are holding up great and super easy to keep clean. I've dropped torque wrenches, used jacks, jack stands and no damage. No hot tire pick up or any failures so far.

Ya I wonder what these would look like after some use I don't like the flakes but I would really like a solid gray or something but am unsure how well it would hold up to " auto mechanic abuse"

Glad it worked out but I laughed out loud at the 20x stronger than epoxy. Polyaspartic is 10% stronger than epoxy given equal quantities but typically is put down at 1/3 the thickness of epoxy. So their coatings are only 37% as strong as epoxy, not 20x stronger. The marketing in this industry is incredible. Lol

Just bumping up the post to give some feedback... floor has held up really well, no failures, hot tire pick up, etc. It is really easy to keep clean - typically just pressure wash and everything comes up.

I have a 4 post on it, used jacks, jack stands, dropped tq wrenches, spilled fluids (oil, brake), etc....

I would do it again and the floor gets a lot of compliments.
