I'm in exactly the same boat. Well, maybe not buying that lathe, but my watch list is full of stuff that I actually do need to refer back to once in awhile that I often use a low bid as a way to bookmark items on Ebay. And I win one once in awhile. I never bid on something I wouldn't be okay buying, though. I like the look of those machines, with the way the mount to the bench or stand. Pretty cool!

It's an easy way to keep track, isn't it. Gives you the odd unexpected surprise.

First M type which I've got the actual tray for, so this one will be going on its stand, hopefully. The one I'm currently rebuilding had no tray with it, so that's on the bench, and I'm using an old, knacked surface plate as the base for that.
All of the pieces are currently placed just inside the workshop door. Either the bits are getting heavier, or I'm getting older.

Going to use this one as is, after a basic fettle. Don't want to be starting with another project & ending up with a pile of bits that I can't use until it's done, again.
I'll be posting more photo's when I get chance DIF. Just need to be able to get back into my workshop first.
