I picked up 2 and the customer service guy said they were a "non-stock item". They didn't appear when I checked the price on the website. I wouldn't make a special trip to look for them being a non-stock. That being said, if I saw 2 hanging on the rack, there must be others sitting around in some of the other stores.
Things will go nonstock at certain stores. Hope this helps.

Nice find. Just thought I'd add that these are incandescent and produce 38 lumens with 4 watts, which is very, very dim. In contrast, LED landscape lighting generally produces around 200 - 400 lumens with 2-4 watts.

You mean this?

I do always look at the Kreg section as sometimes you can find things on clearance, but it's not often, and usually only a couple bucks off...

None in stock in my area, can be shipped free but only or the full $30 MSRP. Checking a few random zip codes around the country, I found a couple stores that have 1 supposedly in stock, for the lower prices, but at my distance from them there's no free regular shipping, just the highway-robbery 'truck delivery'. Maybe one of you lives near Carson City, NV ($8.40) or W. Davie, FL ($8.99). These prices last through June 4.

It's definitely regionally based then. I still think Home Depot has the edge when it comes to monopolizing certain areas,

When I lived in Houston, most of the times Lowe's & HD would be built right across the street from each other. But on average there were also more Lowe's than HD's...

When I moved up to NWA, there are two (2) Home Depot's and five (5) Lowe's within the same area...

Their overall store count is pretty close from a quick google search, and I'm sure it really varies by region. But I don't see Lowe's going anywhere any time soon, nor HD either...

Hey guys, just a heads up. I purchased some Lowes gift cards from DG and bought a frig. They dropped the price on the frig I bought this morning for the Memorial day sale by 100 bucks. Lowes will match their own prices for 30 days. I called and am getting a 107 gift card mailed back. Might want to compare your prices to the Memorial Day sale.

I believe this is part of the memorial day sale and should be available at most locations.

The cordless vac that was on clearance months ago shows to be on another clearance...

https://www.lowes.com/pd/Shark-Navigator-Freestyle-Cordless-Bagless-Stick-Vacuum/50328565

Item 664172

Id really like to get one for my Mother in law since the Shark Navigator we got her is too heavy. I don't want to pay $79 for it though seeing as though the navigator was over $300. I seem to remember these being as low as $6 at one point

If she kept the package for the first one, I'm guessing she didn't use it much, maybe you could clean it up and return it?

That'd be amazing to get any Shark vacuum anywhere near as cheap as $6, I don't know if it ever did happen somewhere (a quick search didn't find any evidence of it) but I sure wouldn't hold out on it happening again. :)

Has anyone else gotten the impression that Lowe's has been messing with its prices recently? It seems like they're jacking up prices in advance of upcoming Memorial Day and Fathers' Day "sales."

Here's an example: just a week or two ago, item #875251 was selling for $499 at stores that had it in stock, and $299 online (for delivery) if your store didn't have it in stock. That's weird to begin with, but now the prices are $649 and $499, respectively.

I've also seen old in/out (IO) items resurfacing at inflated prices. According to the posts above, the Stanley tool box with 81-piece mechanics set (item #905942) sold for as little as $10 not long ago, and now it's "clearance" priced at $79 (supposedly reduced from $99). Similarly, a 300-piece Kobalt mechanics set with foam trays (item #856855) has a "New Lower Price" of $399 (supposedly reduced from $499), but the product's ratings reveal that people have routinely bought it for $150 or so. WTF!?!

You can't figure them out. I see nonstock stuff go back up. You have to take a chance if it is cheap.

I'm seeing 499 for my local stores, and even 243 at a few other stores? Not sure what you're talking about?

I bought a washer last November. Its companion drier was on sale at the same time for $629 with a regular price of $899. Since then I've checked it once a week and "regular price" has been as low as $809 and its currently $999. Sale price has never touched the $629 range but going as low as $699.

That's the only one I remember actual numbers on but on my list I check pretty much all of the product has fluctuated, but none as bad as this...

Sometimes they will go nonstock and all they have done is change the bar code. They do this to keep stock rotated so older product doesn't get pushed back in top stock. Sometimes its a package issue, or a upgrade which is never exposed. Remember they purchase a long time in advance, so the economy may play a part. They may be thining out stock for shelf space, there is a lot of reasons.

Found these at the local Lowes today. Was shopping for mower blades but made a walk past the landscape lighting section:

836071006883.jpg

Item #810816

Great for landscape lighting. And yes, I've seen some of the reviews, but I'm convinced most of that is user error. I've had one of these in use for the last 3 years and never a day of trouble. Retail $60 and I snagged 4 for $6 each.

$9.60 shipped. Store 2535

Was browsing, and saw this.

You can add a 10% off coupon too from Renovopower, and Lowes gift cards were $90 for a $100 card on ebay last week (might still be there).

So it's really more like $200 for the two tool set (which is normally over that), and a nice looking little Yeti knock off cooler.

https://www.lowes.com/pd/DEWALT-2-Tool-20-Volt-Lithium-Ion-Brushless-Cordless-Combo-Kit/1000333251

Just looked up the coolers, and they're being sold (with bids) for near $100 on ebay. So you could totally sell the cooler and charger and walk away with two tools + two batteries for like $120. Very very tempting. Would be nice Christmas present for my father.

I ordered the set last night. Paid $200 altering using a 10% code and gift cards that I saved 10% on. Will sell charger on ebay. Can't really complain. The cooler is $130 on amazon.

Looks to be a good size to take more often when you only have a few things.

JC Pennys CEO Ellison jumps ship and moves to Lowes. He had 2yrs with JCP and 12 years with Home Depot also spent time with Target. Has vast experience with Marketing and merchandizing, could be good, or could be bad."better" product? Clean house?/more clearance? Time will tell. Can.t do any worse than current CEO Niblick!

It's baffling how Lowes's website could be so broken for so long. The whole operation is a mess.

But then maybe we shouldn't want them to fix everything up or they might figure out how to stop people from using the coupons.

Good price, mediocre reviews. No shipping from this store, but they did have some in the cage.

One of those was installed in the house we bought. We replaced it with a z-wave keypad Schlage. The Kevo would do weird things and lock before you could shut/open the door at times. We could never be certain the door was actually locked.

There's always something wrong with it. For example, I can't stay logged in. When I try to add things to my cart and I'm not logged in, it will prompt me to login which then sends me straight to the homepage without the item being added. For a long time there doing half the things on the website would give you a 404 unless you manually logged out. The order history works intermittently. All kinds of things like that.
