Spring has come to Siberia!
In my country, you can go to the forest and collect trees that have fallen from the wind.
Since it's completely free, I brought some trees for the construction of a new, large garage 33x54x12
It will be a frame structure of logs

Wow that is some beautiful work on flattening the logs and making the slots!

I am impressed! Did you have a bandsaw-mill (a machine) to do this or is it all hand-work with chainsaws and chisels?

I love seeing old barns in the US where logs are still employed as columns or beams in the floor, most still have bark still on them

Everything is done with a chainsaw and an ax, I like to work with my hands

I bought an old Soviet lift for 200 bucks, it still works fine! I'll refresh the look and install it.

Made fences in a bakery, for relatives
