For example, I can't stay logged in.

What browser are you using and what are your security settings? In my experience, that is a symptom of using a less compatible browser. If you add lowes.com to your trusted sites list it will likely resolve your issues.

I'm running Chrome, but it did the same with FireFox...

I've had issues with even though I'm "logged in" when I add an item to my cart one day it then redirects me to the login screen again...

Likewise even though I'm always logged in, if I look at my previous orders they don't always show the most recent... I have to log out, then log back in before they appear.

Yes, lowes does have a few little server-side quirks...

That happens to me every time. My work around is to simply hit my account first, then log in.

Now, Back to the deals!

Just got back from my local store...

I saw the tags for the JD blades but only one was in there. They I saw some tags for Arnold brand blades that were even cheaper! 21", 22", 46" 48", etc... Bunches of different Arnold stuff was deep discount, maybe they are discontinuing them? The 42" blades were $7.52/set...

They also had some snowblower skids marked down a bunch (didn't take pic, sorry).

Oh yeah, from the discussion before about the giant craftsman wrench... Here's a better pic of the cardboard... lol...

They've been putting out even MORE craftsman stuff in the racetrack area... More toolbox styles (unfortunately small cheapish ones), plastic tool boxes that stack / cart around, some work benches, etc... They are really going all-out. I didn't go by the tool section, I don't know if they ever made any room over there for CMan stuff... probably not yet...

Same thing here. Site seems to work with IE though.

Yukon store had put more craftsman opposite light bulb aisle. Two door cabinet for garage and that kind of stuff.

Just saw this posted over on S.D. Nest 3rd generation thermostat. 199.00. when you add it to your cart, it takes an additional 49.00 off, plus you get a free mini google home too! Act fast, before Lowes catches on! Couple that with coupons and any utility rebates.

Is it just my area or all over. I have about 40 items bookmarked and not a single one has dropped in over 3 weeks!

Im getting it down to $149, but that is without the Google Mini. Looks like it is taking $49 off weather you add the Mini or not. Still might bite. Maybe I'll fiddle with the color, to see if that changes things.

ordered one. Thanks. Will be installing this, a MyQ garage door unit, & Schlage deadbolt this week. Tech fun, what can go wrong.

I know I will be dinking around more than I hope with the install on Nest. We have a control brain near the furnace for all the apparatuses (heat pump, humidifier...) that the Nest is suppose to handle, but only 3 wires connect to the thermostat. I know they ran a 6 or 8 conductor wire up, so thankfully that concern is hopefully out of the way. Anyone with experience, or a good online reference, please PM me. Trying to avoid past install issues

+2% back @Lowes

I don't know if you add the mini later? I saw that when i purchased but it didn't ask me any info on my mini.

Dave

If you add the Mini, your total is then $199. The mistake in the system is not requiring the Mini to activate the $49 off. You took advantage of it like you were supposed to.

Challenge accepted. Their literature clearly states it is included at time of purchase I'll wait until they ship before I say anything though.

Dave

I would opt for store pick up. Make a copy of the page showing the free mini. I would assume they would have to honor it. Make sure your store has the mini in stock, before you place your order.

Yeah I would print the nest page out, highlight the free mini part, do an in-store pickup. And when you go to get the nest if they don't have the mini show them the printout.

I have no lowes near enough to me for that. Worst case I get two nests for more than $50 less than I paid for my others.

I get it to come up with the mini Google but its priced at $199.99 :( I'd jump on it for $149 but I guess they caught on to us

The paint rebate will refuse you if you used a coupon, so I doubt it.

Yeah, rebate processors love to find reasons to deny people, so I would expect them to thoroughly deny for anything they've specifically excluded like that.

If you need paint anyway and find some you like on clearance, send in the rebate if you want to try, just don't count on getting it.

I have used the 15 off or 10 % off on Maximum and got the rebate several times in the past 2 or 3 years.

I read the marketing **** on these.
Commercial grade construction and features ensure better performance and reliability
. Eh 121, 122 whatever it takes.. In the past 35 years of sticking my fingers in outlets I cannot think of one instance of an "unreliable" outlet. That does explain a few things though...

I am repainting my entire home and replacing all the old electrical outlets at the same time. I decided to get commercial spec-grade outlets rather than the cheap builder-grade stuff and read that these Hubbell outlets are very good:

Hubbell 10-pack - White - $34.99

I need white outlets, but I noticed that the same model in both ivory and light almond is $9.99 shipped:

Hubbell 10-pack - Ivory- $9.99

Hubbell 10-pack - Light Almond - $9.99

If you can use these colors, the price is great.

Not sure if there's some significant difference (the name is the same), but you can get the white 10pk for $9.99 too on this separate listing:
