Williams adjustable wrenches, no more made in USA?

Looking for a new set of adjustable wrenches to replace my old worn out ones. Mostly some old bluepoint USA, superjustables, and black hawks. Was eyeballing the 4 pcs Williams 13642a set as its relatively cheap and was under the impression of still being USA made. After going to snap-ons site for more specs it states they’re made in Taiwan now? Bit of a buzzkill as I’ve always liked the superjustables. Opted for the 3 piece Proto J795s set instead

That’s what I got was the protos. Just disappointing considering the cost just for the name when seemingly the same “Klutch” branded 4pc set is going for around 15 bucks

Western Forge is still making wrenches for several USA companies. Ridgid is my go to WF wrench at the moment. I don't care for Proto's click stop BS.

Shame about the Williams. I have a 24" superjustable that I like a lot.

Yeah, I’m a big fan of Williams USA tools but the only way to make sure of what you’re buying is to verify the product code. If it begins with a number, it ISN’T a US made tool. US made product codes always begin with letters.
